What political ideology do you identify with, and why?

What political ideology do you identify with, and why?

I don't.
There is something very wrong with individuals who believe with religious conviction that the implementation of whateverism will be the solution to everything.

How would anything get done then? without a centralized ideology, sure you can democratically change it, but how would society progress without one.

I like Germany's social market system

I'm pretty fluid with my beliefs. I'm always in the Left Libertarian area, though.

Right now, I guess I'm a Democratic Socialist.

I believe the conjunction of ethno-nationalism, stoicism, NAP, voluntarism, meditation, and fitness would yield a perfect society.

*correction: Racial-homogeneity, ethno-nationalism is irrelevant.

You must be naive if you keep changing ideological beliefs, because either 1. you are constantly exposed to new information - marking you as ignorant, or 2. so unstable & so high in trait openness that fluidity, ideologically speaking, is not seen as unsustainable.

Catholic Theocrat. I don't care about the particulars, any system of government where the Church overrides all things gets my choice.

Social democrat
You're retarded.

Read Socrates, pleb. Ideological fluidity is the opposite of ignorance.

Wait, that sounded dumb. Socrates didn't write any books. But anyways, the latter point is true.

Post-anarchist + Neopragmatism + Open Source

Nah, you already fucked up and so your point is irrelevant. Now comes the obligatory "OMG YOU EFFING PLEB SOCRATES WAS JUST A MOUTHPIECE TO PLATOS PHILOSOPHY HE WROTE NOTHING YOU LIGHTWEIGHT DINGUS HOMOSEXUAL GET FUCKED AND STAY OUT OF MY DISCIPLINE!

Ideological fluidity isn't sustainable

When people gether together and solve issues on a case by case basis that hopefully doesnt end up in resorting to violence.
Like how normal rational people tend to solve problems.

...

I have a strange mix of socialism and libertarianism - the working class needs to take the rich down a peg, but don't tell me whether I can own guns or that I have to fund abortions.

epic post. upvoted.

Says who?

And besides, my ideologies are always about the same. They're just to different degrees of various aspects, which changes anyways as history moves forward.

>the working class needs to take the rich down a peg
>he hasn't heard of the Pareto distribution

I've come to the conclusion that it's best for political fads and ideologies to just have their way. Technically I have no ideology, because I have no agenda. The best way for a society to change is through mistakes, even if that means blowing one's self up an inch from extinction.

authoritarian liberal

This is an ideology itself though.

Duhem–Quine thesis ;)

>I have no ideology,

Do people honestly believe this? How do you function in life without a set of ingrained beliefs passed onto you by society?

Not only that, but every reaction to each individual problem on a case by case basis is going to be a result of the ideology of those reacting. It is impossible to escape.
