Whats an authentic southern dish guys ? Im not a burger so i have no idea

This was like a staple for every restaurant I went to in the South when I went for a road trip

There's lots of different southern cuisines. Georgia and Louisiana won't cook the same meals.

Still, if we go by "southern food", the most typical is something like Chicken fried steak or biscuits and gravy or a rack of pork ribs.

grits, seafood gumbo, sweet tea

This is a solid list

One thing I might add is country ham steak with redeye coffee gravy (not the standard sausage cream gravy) and biscuits. I'd forgotten how good that is until I had a hankering for some and made it a few weeks ago with dry cured ham steaks.

If you want to go to the Cajun side of the south jambalaya, or red beans and rice is always an option. Crawfish if you have fresh ones is a thing.
If not its hard to wrong with some brisket, sauce and rolls.
Pulled pork always works, especially with GOOD mac and cheese, not from the 75 cent box.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy is a classic.
Chicken fried steak, or pork.
Grilled corn.

Biscuits n gravy
Grits
Peaches
Hot Sauce, all you need to be a proper Georgian

Other side dishes:
fried okra (if you hate your life and tasty things)
white beans
green beans and ham

desserts:
pecan pie

Fried catfish.

pimento grilled cheese with kentucky bourbon

Fried okra is delicious, bitch.

Gumbo, catfish and coleslaw and or potato salad, red beans and rice (sometimes with cornbread), steak fingers, this guys showed a example Shrimp and grits, ribs or pulled pork with some sort of side, hush puppies, sweet tea, whole lot of BBQ in general.
There's a whole ton more but I'd have to spend more time trying to figure that out, just use google it's not entirely accurate but it will help, or just visit us sometimes.
