I like my sandwiches on toasted whole wheat bread. I will then put a thin layer of mayonnaise and dijon mustard on the bottom. Next comes ham, turkey, bacon, and then muenster cheese. I assemble the meat+cheese on the bottom slice then cover on a skillet to melt the cheese. I will then place romaine lettuce and tomatoes atop the meat and cheese then season with oregano, black pepper, and Tony Chachares seasonings. A drop or two of olive oil and tobasco then put the top slice on. Served with kettle potato chips and a pickle spear.
Looks good to me. Is there cheese?

ham/salami, American cheese/provolne, lettuce tomato, onions, oil and vinegar
that's as basic as you get at a deli
Olive ciabatta roll filled with semi sun dried tomatoes, porchetta, Gruyère, mozzarella, aioli and coarsely ground 5 pepper blend. Parmesan flakes are optional but recommended if you can't get decently aged Gruyère.
The aioli must be very sparingly applied and the mozzarella can benefit from a light searing prior to assembly.
