Was his 5 seconds of fame worth it? no one even knows his name

Mr Who

Vin Diesel

Slugworth?!

Mr. Clean

The richest fucking man in the entire world.

Daddy

His companies create mediocre products, and the tech and science they develop is nothing groundbreaking.

He is personally not in the business of technology or engineering, but PR, marketing, branding, and sales.

And he is the king of that.

>nothing groundbreaking

>muh DC-X

So this is what collective projection looks like?

God forbid someone is successful, might shatter your fragile egos.

"it should have been me" -your subconsciousness

Paul Giamatti

we /pedestrian tunnels/ now

makes sense. Much cheaper to furnish a tunnel for bikes instead of cars

colin mochrie?

It's also more technically feasible, since the car tunnels needed those high speed sleds to be developed to work.

just much cheaper overall. you don't have to connect to existing roads, you don't have to deal with large amounts of legislation, it costs a fraction to furnish a tunnel for bikers rather than cars, and the throughput is still high enough to be worth it

Lone Skum

A pedestrian hyperloop is going to be interesting to see.

ELON GO TO BED

>How fast can YOU walk in an evacuated tunnel?

dc was an orbital class booster that returned to the launch pad? wow i didnt know

I was pretending to be retarded

Spacex haters usually point to DCX when they are showing how Elon actually “isn’t doing anything new”

DCX is still badass tho

>worth it
What do you mean by "it", Peasant?

Moon lander did it first

>groundbreaking
>doesn't post the ones that didn't survive the fall

>paying to walk
How is he gonna profit from this?

Rockets can fly sideways or simply hover.
They can do plenty of "cool" things.

And coincidentally all useless and counterproductive.

I give him credit for the PR circus though.
NASA should definitely learn from that so we can get some real science done with new budgets.

kek

the profit comes from gaining valuable experience in tunneling, for future mars tunnel habitats

everything comes back to mars for ol' musky
