I have about 40lb of guava that I've picked from my guava tree out in my backyard. Besides eating them, what the FUCK can I even do with these fuckers. I don't want them to go to waste but if they spoil/overripe I'm going to just use it as compost.

Go ask an Auntie what for to do...

GUAVA WINE
4 1/2 dozen med Ripe Guavas, burst in half with hands
4 cups sugar
2 tbsp instant yeast
5L water (about 21 cups)

To sweeten
5 cups sugar
1 cup raisins

>instant yeast

Why in gods name would you not use wine yeast?

Food pantry

PASTELITOOOOOOOSSS

Guava paste. That shit lasts forever and goes well with cheese

Slice them in half, add to a mason jar, add a tablespoon of sugar, then fill the jar with cheap vodka. Let sit for ~1 month, shaking once or twice a week, then taste. Remove the guava if desired or allow to sit for longer in the vodka. Aging the jar for ~1 year will mellow out the vodka into a pretty decent straight drink.

>Not making guava pruno.

Seconding this post. As long as it doesn't ferment because of improper storage, it's a great long-term storage solution that can be used for crackers, pastries, and other treats.

I would make juice out of them if I were you. It takes a lot of anything to make juices.

Guava nectar is pretty great
