Post about your college/university. Does anyone here go to Nottingham University? May be transferring this year, and just want opinions on the university, in particular for mathematics.

Terrible idea OP.
I wouldn’t recommend for physics

Why not?
Fellow britbong here.
Do people in Oxford generally care about their subject and read deeply into it, or do they just focus on exams?
I like it for physics and the research opportunities here
is it just me or do uni threads on Veeky Forums get delet as of late?
anyhoo, I go to Mines
It's bretty gud, the campus are nice, plenty of things to do, and the gender ratio isn't *that* bad. I don't think I've ever found another Veeky Forums user who goes here...
welcome to Veeky Forums - iq & university
i can go to colorado, minnesota or texas for physics phd. focus on condensed matter and optics. wat do
don't forget .9999 threads
Any fellow canadians?
Phys/CS here.
EE BOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS
I'd say most people are really only interested in one part of the material, the rest is just a chore to learn for exams. For example, a lot of chemists really hate organic and view mostly as a memorization test for exams.
How is it? Thinking of applying there for postgrad
>not going to the best physics/CS university in Montréal and also paying highest tuition for a colonialist institution
kek
Southern Methodist University. Dropped out last term
