Has any academic/"intelligent" theologist written about homosexuality...

has any academic/"intelligent" theologist written about homosexuality? Like justifying it despite the bible or legitimately talking about why it's bad as a whole or something?

>shit like this
>'good' in any way, shape or form

This is why we need sharia law

>implying mudslimes aren't child rapists
Nice diversion, Ahmed.

You spoiled little lillies little papa's boys fucks sakes, I found my mom's strap on when I was a kid and it was literally the funniest thing that happened to me probably for that entire year. Get a grip on yourselves you don't live in some crappy Ishiguro universe.

We need white sharia

>It's just a jolly good prank, for pete's sake! there's nothing wrong with a child expressing their sexuality. Stop your conspiracy hysterics or I'll report you to MiniTruth for homophobia, ageism and paedophobic hatespeech.

Pretty much everyone seems to child rapists. Hollywood, UK government, etc..

seems to be*

How is he expressing his sexuality? The comedy comes from the fact that a kid has very little idea what sex is so obviously doesn't know that the gag is meant for sex. I think i don't even know if that show is real I don't have a tv

I think that frogposters are pedophiles as well desu

It's not a sex toy. He licks a hot grill and has to wear that while his tongue heals.

He does where dresses occasionally though.

Christian sexual ethics are based on natural law.

It is impossible to justify homosexuality using natural law.

To permit homosexual sex would be to undermine the entire intellectual backbone of the religion.

The churches that permit homosexuality (despite the fact that there really isn't nothing wrong with homosexuality) are not properly Christian.

There is plenty wrong with homosexuality. Can't say the same for bisexuality.
Even the lisp is evil.

>Even the lisp is evil.
ay, tis th'infernal serpent lisping through their wicked mouths. burn them at the stake.

Mosaic Law only forbade homosexuality due to spread of infectious diseases in the wilderness. Literally on the level of "do not wear clothing of more than one material" and "do not eat ought from the ocean that does not have scales". Christianity forbade homosexuality in order to push a political agenda.

With protective sex, there is literally no more reason to hate homosexuality than there is to hate non-procreative straight sex. Both are equally degenerate.

Ah yes, the famous Bronze Age virologists. You're a joke.

The ancient world had no shortage of pederasty, though.

>a man has sex with another man
>realize this has a relatively high chance of giving you a disease
>think 'God must hate gay sex'
>ban gay sex and crossdressing

It has nothing to do with pathology, my friend.

You sound like you think medieval laboratories must have correctly identified the Jews as the cause of the Black Plague also.

Retard.

Are you claiming the black plague somehow wasn't a Jewish conspiracy?

I've been watching videos of Sarah Coakley lately. From what I've gathered she's one of those heterosexual monogamy rocks type of conservative theologians. Also smart sounding too.

Dat dere.

I think Robert Gagnon gives the most thorough account of why Biblical teaching forbids homosexual behaviour. He's a biblical scholar, rather than theologian, but his work is detailed and knowledgable. When I read him I want to disagree, but don't feel equipped to make an argument against him. I mean, I tend to favour the idea that, in ancient Israel, there was no such thing as homosexuality as an identity, so the prohibition against buggery doesn't consider a monogamous and committed homosexual relationship. Gagnon uses detailed readings of the Greek to dismantle such an argument. I can't tell you if he's right, but he does seem to know his shit.

I'm this person,
but I also loved this
book.
By a respected theologian.

Are you claiming the opposite??

>has any academic/"intelligent"
>theologist
With your ignorance self-demonstrated in the first phrase, I am sure you wouldn't recognize it if you saw it

>Mosaic Law only forbade homosexuality due to spread of infectious diseases in the wilderness

Summa Theologica Q154

Yes, clearly.

I could wirte about it giving you a mind blower text, but what good would it do? You would all smash it in the mud.

I would like to see a legitimate retort to that statement rather than the typical "lol bait" responses

Bisexuality is worse than homosexuality. It allows homosexuals to spread diseases to heterosexuals.

The thinking of the ban on homosexuality in Judaism and Christianity is both well documented and well known. Someone in this thread had mentioned the exact location of the brief intro to Catholic thought on it.
try to keep up

And look what became of you.

The entire 2000 year old tradition of the Catholic Church, supported universally by every relevant Father and Doctor.

Only one user noticed OP said 'theologist'?

I have a hypothesis that their nervous system is damaged.

I mean, at the end of the day, it's hard to justify period. Nature itself defies it, and nothing but potential problems come from same sex intercourse.

Homosexuality is natural in many species

Name some.

cats, dogs, penguins etc. ?

Just google gay animals or observe more stray animals

>Can't say the same for bisexuality
t. dude attempting to justify the mental illness he contracted from years of beating off to 'traps' in japanimation imageboars

Lol, I was actually chubby and couldn't get laid up until I was about 18 and spent all of high school on this website masturbating to traps. By the time I finally got into shape and had the opportunity to have sex at 20 I couldn't even stay hard for a real woman. I had to spend an entire year detoxing before I could get off to vanilla porn again. Still haven't tried to have sex again, though, and I'm 22. it was really emasculating

m8 the church fathers were writing way more far out shit about sexuality than freud and lacan combined.
