Is sexual behavior learned? Let's say a kid grows up in isolation from other humans and animals, will it eventually realize what it means to have sex on its own ("instinctually" or whatever), or does it need to observe the behavior from its vicinity first to get the idea?

No, animals raised in isolation can start fucking within minutes of being introduced to the opposite sex.

>within minutes of being introduced to the opposite sex
But that's not isolation anymore then. Also, proofs?

He already answered your question (if what he said is true). The next aspect of your question is "can he learn something without being exposed to it?" He'd have to be clever enough to deduce 1) that sex is the reason he exists, 2) orgasms are related to sex and 3) the anatomy of the other gender and with that how intercourse is performed.

Are we assuming the kid is intelligent and actively asking these questions and therefore looking at what humans may possibly know or are we assuming it's a random kid and looking at the natural expected (i.e. average) outcome?

Depends. Some have hard wired systems. Others, like pandas, can forget over time...

>Are we assuming the kid is intelligent and actively asking these questions and therefore looking at what humans may possibly know or are we assuming it's a random kid and looking at the natural expected (i.e. average) outcome?
The latter. Assume an average kid, doesn't even have to be isolated per se, just isolated from all notions of sexuality in society.

The teenager will want to have sex, but probably won't understand why. If a child is born, he or she may be able to deduce it.

Good question. I think that the desire to reproduce is an inherent knowledge that cannot be removed even in as extreme a situation as total isolation. Though it may not be at the forefront of one's mind whilst in isolation, as would perhaps have never met another human. But the knowledge exists deep in the subconscious and will come into fruition upon seeing a human of the opposite sex. I don't think asexuality exists in sexual creatures.

Is there actual research of some sort behind this?

yes, the pervs have spent 40 million trying to get the desperately needed research info
so far only 40,000 collegiate fuck sessions have occurred, with little clear results - more testing is required

>But the knowledge exists deep in the subconscious and will come into fruition upon seeing a human of the opposite sex
Can that really be the case? There are many little kids that believe in storks carrying babies and similar stuff, and aren't completely segregated from the opposite sex.

sex and sexual attraction are learned my friend. My theory is that you gain fetishes and other wierd quirks from hiccups in sexual development due to exposure to content that the brain percieves as having some kind of sexual nature or something else.
I was normal 10 years ago, now i want to fuck animals. Pretty sure this isn't genetic...

Thanks for the ironic shitopost, but I'd be led to believe the research would be the polar opposite of "collegiate fuck sessions" - more like raising a child in some extremely prude and religious family.

"want to"
>is doing
*apparently too much internet brain drain leads to ass psoriasis and lack of virility*

No it's just my intuition. I don't think research of that nature would pass ethics clearance.

and of course, we need to do that since the victorian period and the endless religious zealouts worldwide have shown none of them have huge families, incest, cousin sex, and all the rest
ty for your genius waste of tax dollars and general stupidity
>studying how dirt clumps into mud is useful for a couple billion too

>I don't think research of that nature would pass ethics clearance
It's not even that far fetched though, considering stuff like this got greenlighted: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Money#Controversies

what i'm arguing is that what you're into is learned, and that with exposure to the wrong media or too much porn, that lead down a road of degeneracy that ends with you genuniely considering sneeking onto farmer-bills wool-farm to greet one of the sheep...

OP's question is similar, you would probably still figure it out, back when sex was a thing only learned in the bedroom, adult men and women who knew nothing about it before and had no experience would figure it out eventually and get going with it. A (normal) mans attraciton to vag is programmed in the brain, as is the attraction to those curvy hips, and lucious lips. The most base of our attractions could be argued to be genetically derived, but beyond that i think much if not all of it can be warped/changed.

Yes, shitposting on a tanzanian zoopraxiscope forum is a much more productive use of our money. Thank you for opening my eyes, oh great kuso sensei sama

This is one of my reasons for thinking the OP, if degenerates from 4chins are so susceptible to being converted into new fetishes so easily, and it appears that normalfags aren't immune to this either, what implications does that make about our sexuality in general?

It's instinctual you fucking tards. It has to be.

>It has to be
But why?

So we could survive as a species

But who's to say that simple acts of observation and word of mouth aren't sufficient enough to pass the knowledge of sex from generation to generation? After all, that's how most aspects of human society used to work.

>There are many little kids that believe in storks carrying babies and similar stuff

and we believe that an egg and a sperm are necessary for life. Why is there not truly magic involved? Because we've been taught that a sperm and an egg produce life.

>aren't completely segregated from the opposite sex.

Key word would be "little kids," here. They are children, after all, and the body needs to mature before it is ready to produce children. It's an ingenious function, actually, to postpone sexual desire like it does. Those who would've been naturally selected to die would not produce offspring. It's fucking brilliant

Humanised animals, you fucking faggot. Probably a result of rejection or some other pathetic causative factor.

>and we believe that an egg and a sperm are necessary for life. Why is there not truly magic involved? Because we've been taught that a sperm and an egg produce life.
And yet this implies that learning is a very relevant part of sexual development. How much did our stances towards reproduction and sex differ before we knew of sperm and eggs?
>Key word would be "little kids," here. They are children, after all, and the body needs to mature before it is ready to produce children.
But if a kid is taught about storks, and grows up without anybody challenging or refuting this stance, will it reject the stork hypothesis on its own or internalize it as its "truth behind reproduction"?
>Those who would've been naturally selected to die would not produce offspring. It's fucking brilliant
How does that explain rabid hypersexuality in most down syndrome patients, and some other genetic diseases?

Social isolation for mammals will reduce Lordosis Behavior (body posture for copulation) in Females and Hypoactivity (inhibition of social behavior) in Males. Both sexes can be affected by Lordosis Behavior and Hypoactivity but social isolation tends to correlate with more with the particulars.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lordosis_behavior

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoactivity

This has been researched on mice,

>Males
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4869062/

>Females
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4179611/

For humans Lordosis behavior is mostly deactivated due to higher cognition/ control of reflexes. But Lordosis behavior does maintain residual value in that curvature posture increases attraction by single males and females. This is lost if isolation occurs long enough.

For Hypoactivity the impediment of social behavior reduces the ability to read of social cues. It also increases the chances of abnormalities in expressed attachment and anxiety. Some alteration in information reception in visual cortex is observed but not detailed.

There doesn't appear to be a complete inability to desire sex on its own. But there is the implication that social isolation does reduce the ability to sexually compete in social groups.

Great finds, got any more material?

For animal research sure, for human research though there is mostly just psychological profiling of mental deterioration in connection to the amygdala and general physical health.

Research involving sexuality and social isolation seems to be more focus on inappropriate sexual behavior scaling and statistical analysis of sexual offending in criminal behavior. However there is research on loneliness (proxy for social isolation) and it's connection to sleep fragmentation and metabolism. The importance of this resides in the fact that there is evidence that REM sleep is involved in the regulation of sexual behavior and possibly sexual performance (at least in mice).

that with enough exposure to conent we can be slowly desensitized and conditioned into liking things we would find utterly repulsive otherwise.

Not a day goes by where i wish i could not take a pill to get rid of all this degenerate attraction.

Normal heterosecuality is the instictual default and the natural inclination of our minds, and then shit fucks us up along the way so that we become attracted to unnatural things.

That pic was an example.
I've nearly fucked some actual sheep several times in my life, took the will of a saint to resist the urge.

>regjection
interesting idea. You saying that sexual deviancy is caused more by psychological trauma than sexual conditioning?

>How does that explain rabid hypersexuality in most down syndrome patients, and some other genetic diseases?
Today, a person born with a severe cognitive or genetic disorder still has a relatively fair chance at surviving long enough to reach puberty. That wasn't necesarilly always the case, and probably isn't even true in many places still. I think you misinterpret that user. He didn't claim that they have no sex drive, he's saying natural selection occurs because they're likely to die before they ever survive long enough to produce offspring.

I bet that cat woman was originally male aswell.

wouldn't know, saved it when i saw it like that.

you implying i'm a fag or something?

That's not really related to the topic at hand though, and while it might be a case of some genetic diseases, then you also have shit like Huntington's where "natural selection by child mortality" doesn't apply at all.

Yes. I believe there is a correlation between psychological trauma and sexual deviancy. Refer to the number of homosexuals who "come out" as a result of depression. Same thing with trannies.

What is sexual conditioning?

>Refer to the number of homosexuals who "come out" as a result of depression
There's a bit of a difference between coming out and becoming homosexual.
