I cannot tolerate my eye floaters anymore, I want to kill myself because of them. Any books about this feel?

I have bad eye static, so everything is literally 24/7 covered in static, and it's more noticeable in black. Pure black just looks like static to me. Sometimes that makes it hard to see well.

They're easiest to see when you're looking at something with not much detail in. Look at a sheet of paper or a blank screen for a bit and try not to blink or move your eyes.

You think that's bad? I have a tick in my eyes- When I'm stressed, or in high lighting, I'll roll my eyes back into my head, and when it's really bad, turn my head compulsively toward the light source (the lights or the sun). I can't see for seconds at a time, and I'll never be able to drive. Sometimes, the constant repetition will exacerbate my anxiety, increasing the frequency in which I have to "blink". Often, I have to grab onto the arm of whoever I'm out with, and if I'm alone, I often have to stop moving and orientate myself for a few seconds before I can keep going. I which I had floats.

Doesn't it suck? Sometimes I think its caused by too much screen time. Gonna test that out with a 2 week break from screens

What the fuck, dosent everyone have this static? I have bad tinnitus and just googled visual static, I never even considered it was not normal.

It's easy for you to say that when your field of vision doesn't look like pic related.

I think most people have it but don't notice it (missing the trees for the forest, so to speak). I had a friend in undergrad in my neurobiology course who asked about it and one of the premed morons said it might be a slightly detached retina (it was not -- he and I both experience subtle visual static, as you call it).

I get them when I get up too fast.

If they are that large you really should see a doctor. You might not have floaters but instead you may be seeing white blood cells. If they are that large you may just have an infection or cancer. Go get checked out.
Even if they are just floaters the doc will refer you to a specialist who will drain your eye fluid and put artificial fluid in it's place. It will improve your vision.

One of the pieces of advice was to get real upset about your eye floaters

drip some sterile water in your eyes and roll your eyes back
