Scandinavians, how did I do?
Scandinavians, how did I do?
salmon should be put on the cream cheese, you should probably put some red onions on instead of cucumber and you need dill dressing on there
6/10 good first attempt
Not enough rotting fish/10
The Jewish preparation with capers and shallots is superior.
Dill dressing?
i'd eat it
Oy Vey! So so superior! Rub your hands together"´!
yes dill dressing
fuck dig
is that mayo? why doesnt it cover the whole slice of bread? dont you know how to spread?
I used a spoon to spread it, don't h8 m8
is it good?
It's just a vinaigrette with lots of mustard and dill.
Fuck off. You bought that shit from ikea.
blend mayonnaise with mustard and sugar, add dry dill and a little oil ..oh and a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper .. this is close enough to dill dressing
leave out the sugar and this is actually good
>I used a spoon to spread it
sounds like your mom used a spoon on your head a bit too often
The bread looks good. That cream cheese doesn't belong, and cucumber doesn't either. Try google "rævesovs" that a thick sauce we usually put on top.
this dill dressing looks pretty good, is it danish? is it sweet and sharp?
Looks good.
Is this God-tier Scandinavian approved or is it Amerifat invention? Thanks though. Gonna try it.
That's mayonnaise, actually. Gonna try that. Is it just mustard, oil, vinegar, and dried dill?
go away shlomo, stop stealing European food and claiming it as your own.
myself, i dont eat sugar whatsoever, but, dill dressing is sweet and sharp .. it does need sugar imo.
Where's the fish eggs?
So... (top to bottom)
Butter, Mayo?
Gravlax
Onions
Fish Eggs
Dill Sauce
Is this 10/10?
it will vary.
i'd say just mix sweet mustard with dill. but hey
Remove the cucumber and I would eat it
Kino
It's pretty good but pretty much only works with fish, try it if you get the chance
It is indeed danish, altho it is actually not very sharp, more sweet and creamy
Smoked salmon goes well with sliced boiled eggs too
yeah fuck dat, dill dressing is mustard based not mayo wtf
this is a recipe I found that looks pretty decent
2 tbs dill (w/e u got, dried or fresh)
2 tbs sweet mustard
1 tbs dijon or other strong mustard
white wine vinegar, how much depends on how tangy you like it
1 tbs brown sugar
and just mix it up with some oil and adjust with salt and pepper
Can't find it here in Canada, I'll try some recipes around though
Thanks man, gonna try this out! Any bread recommendations? Do you guys always use rugbrod or any bread on hand?
I usually use rugbrod but that is also the bread i always have on hand, but honestly it works well with just about any bread out there
If you wanna try some rugbrod it's easier for you to find some german schwarzbrot, it's probably the closest you're gonna get unless you wanna bake it yourself
good luck user!
what kind of bizarre person has an issue with cucumber?
I do too. It just waters down anything it tries to compliment
it doesn't add any nice flavour
it is a watery taste
not worth putting into a dish
>rävsås
