It sounds like they're just butt mad he made his own show. No way atk wins the case because there's nothing proprietary or unique about their cooking show. It's all been done before. This is like Julia child suing Jaques pepin.

I agree, it's not the same. I originally thought kimble was a pretentious asshole and despised him. But as I watched, I realized he had a self deprecating sense of humor and made fun of himself. I admire that. He also kept the fat lardass wenches corraled. After he left, I can't stand the show.

Kimball ran Cook's Illustrated magazine which all of ATK's content comes from. All the recipes, taste tastings and kitchen equipment reviews come from the magazine. The people who are on the show work for the magazine. It says ATK started in 1990 but only the magazine was around then. The show started in 2001. 11 years of pre-production?

It's all lies, they say he never invested anything but then they say when he was leaving they offered to let him keep his stake in the company.

Well, it's a test kitchen so assuming the recipes came about after weeks of trial and error and food/labor cost. I actually believe them since he actually tried to take credit for one of Kenji Lopez-Alt's recipe.
