Things Fall Apart? Their Eyes Were Watching God? My Bondage, My Freedom? They were some of my favorite books growing up. Frederick Douglass's struggles learning to read motivated me to push myself even further into literature as well as inspiring me to come up with unorthodox ways to challenge myself.
