I'm bringing some for thanksgiving and people always love them

10/10 would eat entire party platter

What are you thoughts on deviled pickled eggs?

I really like them. In fact I think I'm going to make some for Thanksgiving because of this thread.

Um, fuck you. Dill is awful and ruins everything. Smoked paprika is the only topping for them.

i've never had a pickled egg before. what's pickling give to the egg? is it the same as pickling a cucumber or some other process?

Looks like the eggs in that photo were pickled in beet brine, so sugar, salt, and vinegar. It would make the egg mildly sweet and fairly acidic.

Try putting a sliver of dried tomato and sprig of cilantro ontop.

just use a bit of salt. tastes way better then anything else you can put on it.

I avoid them because they have the word 'd**il' in it. I don't want to summon any wicked beings while acknowledging and eating them.

Love em. Use a food processor or stick blender to get the filling real smooth.

Dill and paprika is the superior topping. Also, regarding dill, chopped dill plus minced capers makes amazing tartar sauce, far superior to relish.
