I start with one brick of butter.
3lbs of caramel starter.
One tbs of lard.
1/4 cup of molasses. You can use Maple syrup
1 cup of distilled water.

Use a Crock-Pot.. put on low over night. Then pour into ice cube trays and put in fridge.
Let Kool and serve

Don't listen to them, op. Get a can of sweetened condensed milk and place in a pot with some water then boil on high for 8 hours. If you make a mess use a mixture of bleach and amonia. That shit gets sticky if you get it on counters.

Use a fucking crock pot to make caramel....it shouldnt take you more then a half hour to do. Why would you cook that shit over night? You wont even get proper carmelization.

So the caramel crystals form naturally.

It's also how they use to make it when it was invented in Egypt.

I've done it this way. Just make sure you don't open the can.

It actually does work however the can needs to be fully intact and also totally submerged. The water would have boiled out which is why it exploded everywhere. t. cook

I doubt it's worth it to make, just buy it from the store.
