I'm hoping that there will be leftist ideas that go beyond both marxism, anarchism and identity politics. Any ideas?

>Slavoj Zizek has passed away

?

HOLY FUCK IT'S TRUE
GO TO GOOGLE

ignore leftist and start reading traditionalists, they'll play a more important role soon

>soon
Your naïveté makes me feel sad.

Should I go with the Inca?

Too progressive, start with Cato the Elder and then try to find someone a bit more conservative.

Alex de Toqcueville seems like a left conservative, but I've already read him

>naïveté
western countries are literally having to import people from more traditional cultures because their populations are not self-sustaining.

traditionalist will play a role, either the western kind or the imported kind. it's funny seeing liberals speak about suicide bombers and trying to wrap their minds around the concept of a person doing something like that and falling for memes like the poverty-stricken terrorist and similar concepts that don't hold up once you read the actual data. or seeing them trying to wrap their minds around the concept of a hate preacher, they are totally unable to understand their language and rationalize it with memes, as if they came from outer space.

sadly we are living in interesting times.

Wow I can't believe I actually fell for your meme OP

zizek will outlive us all

So what makes you so certain that traditional values explain suicide bombing? Why are traditional values more of a cause then say cheap, powerful explosive material? I get it, you want things simple and easy to comprehend; liberalism may be a mental illness but conservatism is a coping mechanism.

If only *snif* he "*snort* could be dead *huff*

I actually stumbled upon a thing called "cyber-nihilism". The name is stupid but it seems like it is a type of anarchism, as I understood it, that could actually work.
My objection with meatspace anarchism is that it seems humans naturally form hierarchies (and I know that is controversial).

>meatspace

aaaaand now I have a boner.
I swear high t is such a curse.

as soon as there's value there's a hierarchy related to that value. heck, anarchist open assemblies are just the tyranny of the extroverted / charismatic.

>thinking anyone who goes to an OA is charismatic

I can answer that. If I held a radically traditional culture and I witnessed the sheer sickness of a modern society--and worse, if I were forced to live amongst those people, or worse STILL if they were trying to turn me into one of them, I'd probably want to kill them.

It would be entirely rational. I'm actually amazed it doesn't happen more. Imagine if you were a devout, highly religious man from a society that truly valued family, community, tribe, blood, and you were dumped into an atheistic fag-riddled degenerate cesspool like the modern West. Would you not be filled with an purely rational desire to destroy the wickedness they represent? Perhaps not all of their nice inventions, not their roads and their Iphones and their computers, but the sickness that infests them.

When the Visigoths came to Rome, what did they do to the Roman people? Well they killed a lot of them, but they didn't raze everything to the ground. What they DID do was immediately put an end to the orgies, the gladiatorial fights, the pedophilia. History is rife with people of more atavistic custom encountering decadent peoples and then reverting them back to a purer state. There is always some synthesis, but it also always happens.

there are monkeys smarter that other monkeys, doesn't mean they are human but there's still a hierarchy there

Make me.

>left conservative
You mean liberal?

>cyber-nihilism
metaspace.

Sounds really conservative desu

Sounds like what happened with Qutb when he came to America.

Leftists can never be liberal, but often have conservative social values. Leftism is anticapitalist and anti-private property, while liberalism is rooted in property rights.

Most communist states had no tolerance of degenerate faggotry/gender mental illnesses, yet they are an obsession of US socialists for some bizarre reason.

The True and Only Heaven: Progess and its Critics by Lasch is good non-Marxist leftism.

Tradition and Revolution by Southgate is an interesting anomaly of a right wing anarchism.

>needing a surplus of people when you're on the verge of global automation

>western countries are literally having to import people from more traditional cultures because their populations are not self-sustaining.
>more traditional cultures
How dumb are you?

Islamic countries are traditionalist.

thats the only results I found:

Gladiator games were banned by emperor honorius, before the fall of rome, according to Google.

That's hilarious. Iran is literally a revolutionary dictatorship undergoing light liberalization. The other Gulf states are building skyscrapers like it's going out of style and exporting either Iranian revolutionary Shi'ism or explicitly modernist Saudi Wahhabism. The money of the non-revolutionary Islamic countries comes from oil or a transition into a global market economy in which Islam is a commodity and a template for the generation of new markets. See also the widespread use of Western propaganda techniques throughout the Islamic world: bin Laden released videos over the Internet, he didn't send messengers by camel when he wanted Americans to hear him say "Death to America!". The violence associated with Islamic fundamentalism is certainly a 'traditional' thing, involving 'traditional' fighting-styles, but at the same time the most hotly contested territories under Islamic jurisdiction are kept that way because of the explicitly modern forms of urban warfare pioneered in North Africa during the Algerian crisis that preceded the formation of the French Fifth Republic.
In no serious sense are Islamic countries 'tradionalist.' They are mostly IINO. This isn't a plea to understand Muslims better, IMO Islam is a savage and false religion and the Middle-East should be excised with nuclear fire. I'm just telling you that you're completely wrong about what 'tradition' is. Islamic populations may be 'traditional,' I will grant that, but no major Islamic country is 'traditional.'
Iran may at one point have been a traditionalist country in some sense, but then the revolution of 1979 took place and the Shah was overthrown by illegitimate mobs of fundamentalists.
