Its's the opposite actually. Fasting is fine. You don't have to eat all the time, especially if you've let your body fat get as high as I've let mine get. I did a 5 day water fast last week. The whole reason your body stores fat is so you can survive of it in times without food. The only reason to have excess fat is if you've been needlessly gorging yourself on junk food (or booze) as I had.
