Penguin's kind of slumming it with this shit aren't they? There shouldn't be a version of Dune with their label on it

The Neuromancer one is bretty good

>slumming
Art bubbles up from the bottom as well.
Look at the Library of America series they've has worse choices.

No they haven't. Name them.

>6 intros from Neil Gaiman that they probably paid top dollar for
Penguin... What are you doing? Stop.

The Elmore Leonard novels.

That Neuromancer cover is pretty nice actually. Finding the other ones a little hard to read.

>DU NE
wat tha

Anyone who isn't already familiar with the novel wouldn't have a clue what the fuck the cover is saying

You know they publish a lot of fiction besides Penguin Classics?

well they sure did go and make a bunch of books that look like shit huh

Why are they releasing so many different Special Editions of the same books?

Consumerists

Penguin publishes all kinds of trash, and if they don't their imprints do.

Publishing rights lapse over time and certain illustrations for covers do as well.

Circumcising names is retarded.

>yfw its all the same introduction

This is awful/not thematically appropriate at all for Left Hand of Darkness, nor Stranger in a Strange Land. Honestly not Dune either.

Stupid because LHoD is one of my favorites and this cover actually fits pretty well.

Its not their label. It's a new one called Penguin Galaxy. Though even having a science fiction label might be a bad idea in the long run.

If it gets them more money to support their publication of the classics, it's fine.
