How to manipulate others?

Anyone know of some good books on neuro linguistic programming or mass psychology? If you were an elite what would you read?

Propaganda by Edwards Bernard like the elites actually did read

Dunno, what does Trump read?

>soros
tip your fedora elsewhere, he spent 20 million in 2004
last year the koch brothers and their donor network spend 889 million

>neuro linguistic programming
Lol idiot

What a crank

Read bernays

I do a lot of reading in this field, mostly academic journal articles that aren't going to put the pieces together for you to apply the findings. The best popularizers are Cialdini, Kahneman, Ariely, Sunstein, and others in that circle.

Propaganda is just propaganda about propaganda, its not actually a manual.

Most people with a great talent for manipulation have some type of mental disorder. Usually psychopathy. In any case you want to clear your head so that you can see the people before you. Meditation helps. When you see them and not your ideas about them, you'll be better able to play on their needs, fears, etc. A person like Hitler played on people's deep need to right their felt humiliation. Ultimately one might argue Hitler himself shared this same need. His humiliation was their humiliation, which was the humiliation of the whole German people. I'd look at propaganda. People are also (for all the pretensions to the contrary) driven by instinct, sexual instinct in particular. Also it's important to keep your ego in check otherwise people can fuck with you about as well as you can fuck with them. But it's honestly not that hard. This last election proved that. Audacity is probably your best weapon. Make the lie so big and so important (so vital you might almost say) to people that they can't can't possibly believe it's a lie. That the humiliation in finding out they've been had becomes so painful, they are willing to carry the lie out to the bitter end.

Look, if you want friends, just talk to other people like a normal person.

Can you possibly expound on this? Interested.

seriously. I thought the only people who took that seriously anymore were the guys from Whitehouse.

99% of what your going to get is pure pseudoscience, you just might make yourself delusional to feel more ambitious but action is more important than method really

Public relations has evolved a lot beyond Freudian pseudopsychology but every le woke conspiracy theorists still seems to see Bernays as some sort of hidden source of esoteric elite wisdom

Soros hated Bush and tried to help get him unelected in 04, and obviously failed, by throwing around some money to progressive groups... this is around the time the right wing in America started noticing him and portraying him as a puppet master genius. IDK but the Kochs/others are probably more effective at spending a lot more money at lower level elections where money actually matters a lot more

t. another naive faggot who thinks he's woke himself by regurgitating other people's opinions
You're right about the Koch Brothers and their influence among grassroots Republicans. It goes to show you that even the "opposition" is rigged because the Kochs frame themselves as conservative/libertarian/"Tea Party" but are actually more like moderate "globalist" Republicans than anything else.

Way to misrepresent campaign finance. Hillary raised and spent twice the number of Trump. Plus, Soros's Open Society Foundation, MoveOn.org, etc., spend hundreds of millions on various projects.

Koch & Soros are two sides of the same globalist coin though so no point in bickering about it unless you're delusional enough to believe it is a left vs. right thing.

Jones talks about the tavistock institue.

But the elites know business, controlling people is about manipulating supply and demand.

Typically this is keeping the populace focused on "material" status while still keeping them impoverished.

And Hillary Clinton lost because spending money on PACs at a national level isn't that effective, you just end up pissing billions of dollars down a drain with diminishing returns
Campaign finance is only really effective at lower levels

hillary clinton lost because no one likes the clintons has much as rich people in dc think, if people liked the clinton agenda al gore would have won resoundingly in 2000 instead of just barely beating bush by a handful of votes that didn't get counted, also if people liked hillary she wouldn't have lost to a black guy, it was pretty obvious no one outside of goldman sachs executive suits no one liked her

That's my point, public relations and a bunch of money ain't magic.
Also Bill Clinton was still generally very popular in 2000 even though the sex scandal, the 90s was pretty much the best decade for middle America suburbia. Gore lost because le woke gen Xers saw no difference between Gore and Bush and stood out or voted for Ralph Nader
youtube.com/watch?v=Q3dvbM6Pias

>very left-leaning people didn't like centrist corporatist Al Gore and only voted because they saw that Ralph Nader could get the 5%
Wow you really got me thinking with that Democratic Party propaganda. If only you can get the Marxists and the anarchists to vote for Al Gore too, you would have won resoundingly!

Hundreds of thousands of registered Democrats decided to vote Republican in Florida. Why don't they ever get blamed? Better yet, why do we blame voters and not the retard chosen by the Democratic Party?

>Gore lost because le woke gen Xers saw no difference between Gore and Bush

that's the point tho, centrist clintonite bullshit wasn't selling anymore and still isn't apparently

the torrah and the protocols of the elders of zion

>no difference between Gore and Bush

considering obama continued bush's bank bailouts, passed mitt romeny's healthcare plan, and started a reagan style covert war in syria i'd say there probably wasn't a big difference

this.

since when is "libertarian" and "globalist" a contradiction?

Guide others, don't manipulate them

When you're dealing with a non-cuckold like Rand Paul, or when you realize that letting economics run its course after removing all barriers to trade and migration won't redistribute wealth quickly enough.

If I were an elite today, I would be reading Marx's Capital, then Adorno, then Lacan.
