So Microsoft is now requiring its users to pay about 80$ a year to use Word, which is ridiculous.
I'll probably just use wordpad since its a decent program, but do any of you have suggestions for free writing software?

Hey, be nice to the retarded shills.
You only need Office if you're a college student, whose retarded professors vehemently insist on your papers being .docx files. I'm paying per-month for it, and the price includes the whole suite, so it isn't too much of a waste; I just unsubscribe when I take quarters off.
You don't need Office at all to write.
Sublime Text for plain text
You're not living the Veeky Forums lifestyle if you're not using Linux.
