It's actually easier to get published now.
More like /stopthememes/ thread
I'm not writing for fame. I just wrote the book because I had a great idea. The idea somehow was good enough for 3 full manuscript requests from prominent agencies. I just wrote "famous" because I know that my book now actually has a chance to make it big.
Like I said, I'll be shouting you all out.
:3
Good luck. I hope I can get published in the future.

They still get published, people still read them, they're still fun to write.

It's a lot easier when you're heavily connected
What should I write instead, then?
we're gonna have a whole generation of literary fiction writers who came from Veeky Forums. i mean, where else right?
Idk man, honestly if it wasn't for nepotism I probably wouldn't maintain this passion
Is that in San Antonio?

What else are you going to write?

I'll stick with fiction novels.
screenwriters are the lowest of the low
>trying to write
Kek. That's how you tell when someone is never going to make it.
At least they have some standards to fulfill. Literally anyone can write poetry.
>At least they have some standards to fulfill. Literally anyone can write poetry.
bad post bro
It's just a total waste of time for anyone not living in LA and lacking in social skills. At the very least, you can self publish your novel. Nobody is going to read a script written by a nobody for a movie that doesn't exist.
Anyone can write poetry sure. No one's getting published unless you win a contest or fellowship
we're gonna have a whole generation of retarded goodreads writers
sorry no refunds, nigs
Sure but even criteria for these are pretty random. With a novel or a screenplay, you can generally predict whether it has a chance or not, yes obviously people do get it wrong sometimes but it's relatively transparent. Journalism is kinda in between, depending on publication. Blogs are the equivalent of longer shitposts but even here, at least the popularity is usually based on something obvious.
I am not arguing against poetry as art form or anything, it's just ridiculously subjective, even compared to the rest.
Wrong
Wrong
and Wrong
I'm op and I puked so much reading your answers
You really fucking suck lads
At least you're not Gaskun and his 15 novels of space opera shit. "Hurr durr I'm gonna remake the heroes journey!"
Good luck OP.
