How do i make pasta sauce

ok Veeky Forums, so i felt Italian today, and after an intensive search on google images (i googled best pasta sauce) i think i got a bit of an idea of how to do it, there are so many recipes online i decided i just have to go with intuition

what i have so far, is tomato puree, dijon mustard, soy sauce (sweet), and white wine

im thinking about adding pepper and cheese to it, but i'm not too sure

please help

Post the mommy blogs that listed those ingredients in a marinara. All you need to do is saute onion ungil translucent, add some chopped garlic and thyme for 1 minute and thdn tomao puree. Season to taste. Anything else is literally horseshit.

too late faggot, on a second note I'm gonna add both salty and sweet soy sauces because at this point theres already soy sauce and why use salt

Some stuff I like in mine

diced finely or pureed olives
red wine
dark beer
meatballs
beef stock or chicken stock
grated carrot
grated zucchini
mushrooms, first cooked in butter
rosemary
heavy cream (mostly for a lasagna sauce)
plenty of black pepper
crushed, dried, hot peppers


i don't add all of that to one sauce, just things i sometimes use

cheese is good with pasta and garlic was suggested by someone so I added those in too

i just like things a little spicy and soy sauce is an Asian substitute to salt so i dont see why not

OH SHIT I FORGOT THE EGG

Jesus fuck op that's not pasta sauce you need to
heat a skillet add butter
Cook off 1 finely minced small carrot untill soft
add one finely diced small red onion, cook till starting to go soft
add 3 chopped garlic cloves
cook untill fragrant
add a big pinch of oregano
stir
Immediately add 1 carton of tomato passata
stir
add a tablespoon of concentrated tomato puree
Bring to simmer
add a heaped teaspoon of sugar
simmer untill reduced by half
add 4 leaves of fresh basil
simmer for a minute or two
taste, season with salt and pepper to taste
add your cooked pasta and stir until pasta is coated
remove from heat
pour in a fuckton of extra virgin olive oil
stir
season again
Plate
finish with salt and pepper a couple of basil leaves and parmigano regiano and more olive oil
bang done
a perfect classic why change it
