Pretty embarrassing when all your dystopian critiques of socialism were done better by an actual Socialist

Orwell did not go at it from an incentive perspective

Too bad he never wrote anything as powerful as Anthem.

>Anthem
>Anything but a shitty ripoff of Zamyatin's Mы

just read atlas shrugged.

The whole thing is far too heavy handed. If she was a bit more subtle about the whole individualism good, socialism bad, it might have been ok.

But instead there is a mary sue protagonist, that shits her pants everytime someone tries to grab some shekels they haven't worked for. The whole thing is full of over the top monologues every couple of pages. She even cucks two men and they roll over and accept it.

Not to mention every other "enlightened" character being completely flawless, attractive individuals who can do no wrong, while the antagonists are so wilfully ignorant and stupid to the point of absurdity.

I genuinely anything that even smells of communism, but Rand is just deluded

>I genuinely anything

hate

I've read both. The paper used for Anthem would be better used for welfare checks. Probably the worst book I've ever read. Zamyatin was alright.

This

She always manages to get uglier everytime her picture is posted. Beyond fucking manish.

>dibs fedorba

Nobel House was sweet. She didn't write it but it the dude who wrote Noble House sent her a copy and it is kind of about commies being assholes and capitalists being super cool.

>he paper used for Anthem would be better used for welfare checks.
Ironically Rand herself spent the latter part of her life on welfare (and wrote impassioned defenses of a serial killer because she thought he represented the Superman or some shit.) You want to talk about "nasty women", wew.

This. Anthem should be taught in schools.

In atlas she wrote how socialism begins, while he was participating in it(pic related)
Then he wrote how it ends.

Why the fuck does Atlas Shrugged have a viking in it?

This is exactly why I couldn't read past the first hundred pages. I just kept on rolling my eyes and sighing every time anyone did anything.

There are zero believable characters in the book, only cardboard cutouts representing [MY VIEWPOINT] and [OPPOSING VIEWPOINT].

he was the true ancap warrior

How many in the 21st century would have even heard of her if not for Bioshock?

it was the most influential book in the US after the bible way before Levin stole from her.

Yeah, the asbergers individual who would break down doors and rape peasant children because they couldn't adapt to normal society and are now aped by Freudian "men" and garbage musicians.

She accepted Government payments to write Atlas Shrugged. Much of it's content is dedicated to easing any guilt she would feel for betraying the working class to line her pockets. Notice she is ugly, ie a failed woman.

I had to read Fountainhead for high school.
