Just read this, what else should I read to learn more about the history of art?

you actually read all of that?

i read the entire two volume of jansen's history of art, which is twice as long, maybe you just a self-disciplinelet

What's the problem if he did?

nothing.
even history of art students (aka me) dont do this

Read whole books?

I was it user? I want to read it.

kek

Yeah I did, very nice book imho

It's a good starting point.. I think. I haven't read a lot of history of art books so I can't really compare it to others but I definitely learnt a lot

>read this post
>look up the book expecting it to be 10 volumes and be unreadable
>it's less than 700 pages

lmao

Thats the abridged version brainlet.

Civilisation by Kenneth Clark
Ways of Seeing by John Berger

Anything by Robert Hughes.

Especially, The Shock of the New

Start with Vasari ya dummy.

>Reading the Renaissance equivalent of TMZ

not him but I don't think so. The last edition is almost 700 pages

oh and by the way, you may be talking about 9780714847030 but that's a pocket edition. Wonder who is a brainlet.

Warburg.

It's 700 pages with a shit-ton of spacing between the lines, large font, and like 400-450 illustrations, lol.

Should've read 'A World History of Art' by Honour and Fleming.

Way too eurocentric
