I wish I could help you, I have the same thing with an anime, your problem though is far more complicated, what language was the book written in, which country are you from, what kind of book was it, from what publisher could it have been, covers differ greatly from publisher to publisher

It was probably in English I saw err I uh knocked it over when I made a grab to see what it was about and it disappeared behind a half ton bookshelf in a used bookstore in Seattle (bookstore pictured). The bookstores there are really from floor to ceiling. Anyway the copy I saw was paperback.

That's tough, OP. There's bound to be different editions of each book from different publishers and none of them will use the same cover.

Plus if it was some erotica for middle aged women or something from the amazon ebook shop then it's not likely to be known by any of us.

This (like all book stores like this) is a cluster fuck of everything, very little semblance to anything. It also has the pleasure of having random books doted around the store too on these stands. like in the front theres a big ol stack of Game of thrones books, no shit easily 4 and half feet off the floor, and on top is a UK edition of Harry Potter, theres a similar thing with a stack of Stephen King books with Neverwhere by Gaimen. Which is why I can't really say a genera (it was on top of a big as bookshelf two feet back of generic fantasy stuff). My gut feeling on this title was that its in the murder mystery, suspense, maybe historical fiction. I'm also pretty sure now that the cart on the cover is a housekeepers cart (cleaning, or hotel staff cart)
