It's pretty short and easyish but worthwhile. It's also well known in popular culture but rarely discussed on lit, so now's probably the time to read it.

It's often read in schools but if you really don't know what to expect, it's a little dense. It's beautiful and insightful while also being somewhat unsettling, but take it slow. Don't speed read it in one afternoon because a lot of the imagery needs time to settle. It's definitely worth reading though.

If you're new to Veeky Forums, it's often seen as both essential and a good starting point though. If you're not keen on it, I would recommend sticking around for some more easily accessible books and give it another go maybe later in the year.
