drinking this i've decided that goses are my least favourite kind of sours, not sure why they are the most common among western breweries are they the easiest to brew or something?
Jayden Cruz
I think straightforward goses are crazy good in the summer, but weird fruity ones are never good and normal ones don't hold up when it's cold
also I don't think goses are the most common in the US, I encounter a lot of more traditional sours than goses. at least in the midwest
Brody Hughes
I've always hated IPAs - they taste like soap to me - but loved sours. I see more people talking a lot about sours lately, I hope they take over IPAs as the new microbrew hipster thing and they become really popular. Theres never enough new sours to try.
Pic related is my absolute favorite beer now, too bad 4 packs cost $20.
Caleb Jones
Not usually an IPA drinker but I picked up 4 of these today
Robert Lewis
>I've always loved sours
ifyou can getyourhands onpic related, tryitout shared this with a friend and we were both happy about it, along with Sori's Tropical punch (good but not fantastic, Sori is much more of a dark and heavy beers brewery)
Kevin Garcia
bump
Nicholas King
Found a crowler of this at a hyvee in Brooklyn park. It was only 6$ so I gave it a try. Not a huge fan of lavender, but it honestly wasn't terrible. I wouldn't buy it again but it was better than I expected. Even my gf who hates lavender thought they did a decent job balancing it out. I hope more breweries start selling crowlers at liquor stores. I like them
Ryder Reyes
No pic, but I tried West Sixth Brewing new England style IPA called low beam and it blew my mind. now I can't stop drinking the New England style.
Isaac Brooks
i hate this name, and I hate IPAs. those dumb fucks at the brewery were like "yeah dude! jai alai! top kek gr8 name m8!" absolutely no sort of creativity
Joshua Butler
kek yes, i too love sours. they can sometimes taste like bile but overall they are fun and tasty and refreshing
Logan Jackson
one of my all time fave beers. put it in the freezer for a couple hours, it turns into a slushy. tasty
Joshua Clark
They probably hate you back
Nathan Jenkins
plus you can make crazy shit with lactic products
Oliver Watson
I hope they do. Fuck IPAs.
Benjamin White
>have a seasonal dopplebock >It's $19 for a six pack before tax and deposit
Honestly it's ridiculous how this average brewery milks the shit out of their prestige just because they were at the forefront of the market and an inivator a decade ago, they have some solid staples but they overcharge for everything not in regular rotation. All their beers are so one dimensional and overmalted. IPA's and DIPA's (other than 2 hearted) are always underhopped and sweet, stouts lack body, depth and are very singular note. Bells is just sugary normie swill with the exception of a handful if beers that all the girls and hipsters bring up when they talk about how much they love craft beer but they really just want something unoffending and easy to drink.
Christian Foster
I think it's somehow a good thing that most breweries are begining to overcharge beers that are nothing out of the ordinary, because people will end up being fed up with paying this much and will start to brew their own everyday beers the brewery market will crash and only the interesting/not overpriced ones will eventually survive
Jason Watson
I really like their expedition stout and third coast old ale. Best brown is alright. Rarely buy their overpriced special release shit though. Why would I pay more than celebrator for a doppelbock that's not as good?
Gavin Adams
fucking gross
Colton King
Rubaeus is the worst fucking beer Founders has ever made what are you smoking
Levi Johnson
The local super hype ipa just came out a few days ago at a local brewery and people literally lined up for HOURS by the hundreds just to get a couple 8oz portions. If that's not crazy, I don't know what else is.
Aiden Gonzalez
I think its pretty tasty. I dump in a shot of vodka to take it further
Nicholas Gomez
...
Ian Clark
bumping with this excellent stout
Leo Myers
is this going too far ? yes, I'll admit it's actually good, but can this still be considered as beer ?
Nolan Mitchell
For a long time, when I was more retarded, I wouldn't drink IPA because I didn't want to consume any liquid from India. Nothing against India, but their water sources and shitting in the streets.
Hudson Wood
>founders
Bentley Cox
...
Grayson Gonzalez
who /blue moon/
I have an absolute fucking shit ton of it so Im stuck with it for a while
Cameron Myers
This is actually a pretty okay beer. I could chug a good few in a night
James Martin
unexceptional but totally drinkable. good for chain-drinking all day
Gavin Perry
>friend in Belgium bought me a bottle of Westvleteren 12 and is sending it to me
I'm just overjoyed I can finally scratch it off my bucket list
Jonathan Walker
Been on a kick of drinking these since the holidays, still not sick of it yet.
Guinness Extra Stout really improved since they stopped brewing it in Canada and moved all operations back to Ireland. If you hated it a couple years ago, try it again.
Colton Miller
when i drink guinness, murphy's, similar stouts i only taste soy sauce. am i retarded? it's really gross. i enjoy other stouts, like imperial stouts
Parker Howard
desu you have shit taste
James Barnes
Lancaster Brewing's Shoo Fly Pie Porter.
This kills the Pennsylvania Dutchman. Not really a huge fan of porters generally but had to get this one for the novelty. It's actually really good imo, might have to pick up a case.
Nicholas Turner
a shit beer made by big beer to try and tap into the craft beer market
it legitimately tastes like urine
Eli Cook
Very good beer. Wish I could get it out west.
William Campbell
...
Jacob Sanders
I have a weakness for aesthetic labels. The beer could be bud light and I'd buy it
Bentley Ross
well considering the brewery is based in miami (iirc) and it having a significant latinx population, a few of which play jai alai, it's not that lolsorandom of a name. evil twin has more lolsorandom beer names than jai alai.
i might crack open one of my bottles of CBS tomorrow after gorging myself on pazcki.
Josiah Reed
much better on nitro
mango magnifico and lizard of koz fresh.
Jaxon Butler
ever since the children took over the company, this has been happening. honestly, i couldn't even tell you the last bell's beer i had, and none of my collection contains anything from them.
Carter Young
tastes like you're walking through the perfume department at Macy's with your mouth open.
Brayden Scott
Bow to your king.
Henry Stewart
I enjoyed this last time I tried a sour.
Noah Phillips
not any more. they're not even in the top 3 for sales. how does it feel losing out to light beer? not once, not twice, but three times over?
Jayden Harris
>well considering the brewery is based in miami tampa
>i hate this name, and I hate IPAs. edgy
Aiden Clark
I had one of those not too long ago. Pretty good for a 21 year vintage. Just kidding it was kinda vile.
Owen Martin
which also has a high latin population.
Ryan Harris
i like this
Gabriel Martin
I had a raspberry sour the other weekend, that shit was fucking good
Benjamin Edwards
fuck you
Liam Campbell
the very best best raspberry sour I had was from Sweden (Orebro) I never buy more than 3 at a times during summer, because you can only chug them down once you took the first sip and they're a bit expensive
don't worry, Lervig are good at what they're doing
>New England style
hell yeah
Julian Flores
Second time i managed to get some! Not as good this time around!
Eli Gomez
i still dont get why founders decided to suck off the leafs with that name. couldnt they have also called it alaskan or vermonter breakfest stout?
Joshua Perez
What do sales have to do with it? It's literally the king of beers. Anything else is second banana
Robert Parker
Lizard of koz was one of the most disgusting craft beers I have ever had. The blueberry and vanilla combo just didnt work for me.
Founders makes my go to year round available stout. But i cant stand old crumudgeon or dirty bastard.
Samuel Ortiz
Isn't Canada the number one producer of maple syrup? It's synonymous with the country
Cameron Brown
Moose Drool tonight fellas. Montanan here.
Jayden Mitchell
Haven't had it in years, I think I wore myself out on the whole range of Blue Moon drinks some years back. Still great brews that I wouldn't turn down if offered but I can't seem to bother buying anymore.
Daniel Price
not hard to beat this beer. Many other belgian wits out there. If you're in Texas try out celis wit instead. They have a cool story for their brewery too.
just blew a keg of the CBS. Pretty popular stuff
not drinking based coors light lol give me a break
Any mikkeler blows this out of the water
Anthony Perry
bump
William Phillips
We need more Ausfag craft beers in here.
I'm drinking this
Nathaniel Campbell
i love this stuff. it tastes like any other piss water but it get's me drunk for $2.
Jackson Ramirez
founders all day ipa is excellent and i hope to drink it more in the future
William Perez
>general
Eli Miller
nice can of Coke
pic related, the superior Feral beer
Hudson Gutierrez
but theyre not the only ones who produce it. founders could have just as easily included something related to america but instead they bent over for the leafs. its retarded.
Benjamin Long
If you're paying $2, that's too much. I think they are like $1.29 at my local liquor store.
Jace Morgan
Frankly I think it's retarded that you're getting so butthurt over Canada. What even did they do to you?
Owen Collins
What's wrong with referencing canada when they use a product mostly made and celebrated in canada? They probably even used Canadian maple syrup bourbon barrels
Jayden Ward
Terrible, possibly more so than even Steel Reserve. In that price range, Icehouse Edge and Hurricane are better choices. The former is only 1.29
Joshua Martin
it was the king of beers because it was the top selling beer. now it plays fourth banana to light beers.
Isaac Moore
i went to a brewery in missoula that had some very good BBA scotch and stout ales.
why does your state have so many casinos?
Jose Sullivan
you do know that the maple syrup used for CBS is made also in michigan? it's canadian in name only.
hell, if you're that salty, evil twin made a michigan maple bba EMJ and biscotti break, which were both made by Dark Horse, using the same maple syrup that founders used for CBS.
Elijah Jones
What's the best mass-market beer I can find anywhere?
Cameron Wright
Boston Lager or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Ryan Rodriguez
Currently enjoying Settle Down Brown by Odell. Tastes like a malty IPA.
Bentley Carter
their IPA is the tits.
Logan Gutierrez
You realize Founders also makes Kentucky Breakfast stout, named after a place in America?
Alexander Baker
High life
Aaron Carter
just got back from a local for their mardi grace promotion, had a pretty good time with some pretty good beer. Southern Brewing Company for reference, sour stout was pretty good
Charles Evans
>latinx Not even ironically
Luke Davis
They're not pandering to leafs you dumbass. It's just a way of saying "we used maple syrup, a stereotypical canadian product, in this beer"
Or are you the kind of idiot who will run into a pizzaria screaming that everyone is a liar because some fat guy name Tito didn't make your "hawaiian" pizza?
Noah Perez
Drinking some of pic related and working on my senior thesis tonight
I need to find some of this. Although I haven't been super impressed with their malty offerings (Isolation suuuuucks) I love brown ales
Charles Gomez
Not him but it's because of rather lax gambling laws. and a decent amount of indians.
Bentley Nelson
i forgot where i was, apparently.
Xavier Wood
War Hog is the best Feral brew and I'm not even an IPA fan.
Jonathan Perez
Ha, fag.
Henry Jackson
What's your upper limit on what you're willing to pay for a single can/bottle of craft beer? Silver Peel and others are like £6+, I personally don't think it's worth paying that much for one beer.
Evan Walker
i buy 2 of them for $.97 each. hence the $2 comment. all those other brands are just as bad and more expensive where i'm at.
Kayden Sanders
I buy them once to make up my mind, but unless it's something mind boggling (like, say, Hoppin' frog stouts) I don't buy them again There are more than enough good beers at affordable prices About to enjoy pic related by the fireplace
Ian Wright
This was my first beer. I remember those early HS days with my awkward friends cuddled around a computer screen in someone's room with a movie on, downing blue moons and smoking weed late at night.
Luke Roberts
It really depends on the beer. I once spent on $15 USD for a 750ml (25oz) bourbon-barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout that was a limited release by a good local brewery and it was worth every penny
