>carry-out order
but she did nothing? the cooks did all the work for this and mass cooking the same meal is easy

entitled cunt thinks she should get gibs for doing nothing.

No. Tipping is stupid, but until unskilled/low-skilled wages increase with inflation its a necessary evil.
The problem, as usual, is capitalism.

Why do we tip waitresses and not the chef? I wouldn't mind picking up my food

Will communism fix it?

most places I see that do carry out the waitress needs to box everything up, include all the silverware and stuff and put it in bags

>"Church Group" doesn't tip
Sure it wasn't a synagogue?
t. worked at a deli chain

Nope. The solution is to apply socialist fixes to capitalism when necessary and understanding that no one system will ever be perfect

But that's still not worthy of a tip
You don't tip fast food workers, and that's literally their entire job

What's the political idea called where you do the most good for the community, given that you've taken more than enough of your fair share?

Fucking entitled cunt.

And fuck tipping.

where's her GoFundMe account?

I like browsing the virtual signaling comments from liberals there.

She complained on Facebook. Is this against the law now?. It's not like she made a scene when she was clocked in or representing Outback Steakhouse.

She's a bitch yeah, but that's not against the law.

Really bottom line is if this is a right to work state then she shouldn't get terminated over this. She shouldn't lose her 1st amendment rights just because Outback wants to control her.

>She's a bitch yeah, but that's not against the law.

Who said it was? She broke company policy.

She packed it and loaded it up.

Most places split tips now desu.

She deserved a tip, but naming and shaming your customers online is never right. Perhaps they should have instead enacted a policy where a tip is automatically included for large orders.

>waitress
>carry out

>company policy

uh-huh. And I suppose olympic gymnists should be fired for ratting out their coaches that groped them right?.

>right to work state
the fuck do union laws have to do with speech laws, companies are still free to fire whoever for whatever they want as long as its not a protected status.

>carry out order
>tip
Fuck is nothing safe anymore? Is the fucker at the supermarket gonna start looking for handouts now?

Outback Steakhouse doesn't have a service fee for parties of 5 or more?

A) people who complain on social media are super scummy
B) who the hell expects a tip on a takeout order?

>comparing someone who complains on social media to someone who got molested

That escalated quickly.

the tax rate in the US is over 50 percent for the wealthy including local taxes. Income is taxed and corporate profits are subject to double taxation. The US government is the most powerful entity to ever exist on the planet earth I think we already live in a pretty socialist country. The problem is more the "culture" of the us.

For a UK tabloid, they sure love US news.

i know this is horrible horrible bait but signing a contract stating you cannot post about your company on social media is not the same as quietly tolerating sexual abuse.

A culture of obsession.

Christ, yes it is exaggerated but the point was not in the victims but in the similarity of the commercial enterprises that have a way too over-reaching grip on the lives of their workers.

I doubt you'll ever understand so fuck it.

The real tax rate for the rich is lower because of loopholes. Same thing with the corporate tax rate. its on paper 35% but in reality it is closer to 20% or lower. Also the tax rate for wealthy people used to be almost 90% for some.

can some 1 post the law that makes it so employers h ave to make up for lost tips

>right to work state
I dont think you know what that means.
It means you work at will and a company can fire you at will... with or without cause. In this case she was fired for not following company policy but they did not need a reason. In a right to work state you can be fired for literally no reason.

It's called Joan's Law

So nobody is going to comment on this?

>Church group says it was a misunderstanding and apologized for not tipping

Aren't church groups in general well-known for being demanding and not tipping?

I kinda doubt she loaded them all tbhf

Church groups give more money than any other group..................to the church...

>but the point

Was lost when you tried to shoehorn a retarded analogy in thinking you were being witty or clever in doing so you dumb dumb.

ok

This is so f$%#ing stupid. When a church-member gives tithe they are basically tipping directly to God on behalf of society. She's not taking into account the fact that they are praying for her either. This is why I hate waitresses

I'm not trying to shit on your hate train. You can hate who you want. But further down it specifically says "Christian fellowship group"
Also no Jew has ever tried to convert me out of nowhere. Fuck christians

Why the fuck is there even a news article about some random nobody losing their shitty job?

I typically leave a dollar as a tip for carry out, but I get carry out from like the same three places when I can walk in, they know my name, and say: the usual?

SO I think to maintain this good relationship, an extra dollar isn't asking much.

Russian propaganda. It's to keep the religious right wingers boiling so they dig in deeper and lash out at anyone different. Divide and conquer.

For Britbongs to feel superior for 5 minutes before going out and being harassed by muzzies on the street for being wypipo.

Who the fucks tips for a take-out order? I've never done that ever.

Church people are notoriously bad tippers.

Kek

>virtual signaling
Lol

>I'm not trying to shit on your hate train. You can hate who you want. But further down it specifically says "Christian fellowship group"
Also no Jew has ever tried to convert me out of nowhere. Fuck christians

>Is this against the law now?.

No, but it's also not against the law to be fired for it.

>Also no Jew has ever tried to convert me out of nowhere.
You must not be a pretty gentile girl then...

Fast food workers get paid a higher hourly wage and she works off tips, packing a $700+ meal probably took her over an hour and she would earn something like 8$/hour for it.

She definitely wasn't the only one packing the meal and if that takes her an hour she deserves less than $8 for it.

Muslims and christians are literally the evangelical arm of judaism. Jews don't try to convert, they leave it to the lower elements.

Why would you ever tip on carryout?

>The problem, as usual, is capitalism.
says no educated person ever

Literally nothing in the history of the world has done more good for more people.

>She complained on Facebook. Is this against the law now
Its perfectly reasonable for a business not to want their low level employees calling out customers who did literally nothing wrong in a public manner. Especially an apparently big customer like this
This has literally nothing to do with the law, its not like breaking the law is the standard for which people are fired from a job, its for being a bad employee

What restaurant chargers extra on takeout orders if more than 5 are ordered? Is this a thing?

those cases are not similar at all

Assuming everyone had an average 20$ order, thats 36 meals. That's 1 minute 40 seconds to box each meal in an hour, not including any extra steps after boxing. It probably took her over an hour.
>if that takes her an hour she deserves less than $8 for it
Looking it up, a waitress earns 4.22/hour at Outback. Nobody deserves 4.22$/hour because that's far below any liveable wage in the US. She has every right to complain, but they also have every right to fire her because that's how capitalism works.

I work at McDonalds and we always charge an extra hamburger or fries for the staff to eat while we make the food if it's a big order.

Right to work doesn;t mean you can always be fired without cause, thats an unrelated thing. It just means you cannot be legally compelled to join and contribute money to a union as a condition of taking a job

I'm a waiter at Rosa Mexicano in New York and we always charge an asshole customer fee if people order too much food from us.

youtu.be/ZAAp8juBte0

>Church group says it was a misunderstanding
What'd they mean by this

Probably that they had no fucking idea that they were supposed to tip on a take out order

Fuck wait staff

They don't even deserve minimum wage

Give them $5/hr matter what and eliminate tipping

Penicillin and my dick has done more good for people than capitalism has ever done.

Chain restaurants usually pay the full minimum wage. Even McDonald's does not pay that low.

jews dont convert you because they don't want converts, they believe they are pure. right off the bat they show disdain for the goyim. at least christians try to convert you because they have deluded themselves into believing they are saving you from an eternity of hell and shit.

>not liking good things
Being straight up anti-capitalist is so fucking dumb, are you just trying to be a contrarian?

and at least christcucks are basically socialists what with all the "we're all God's children" nonsense that you don't see in any other religion.

>Even McDonald's does not pay that low.
read the entire comment chain numbnuts

No

Fucking no one tips on carry-out. What the fuck?

>apologized for not tapping
*clap clap clap*

Oh wow I'm an idiot. Yeah you're actually not supposed to tip for carry out orders. That's the entire point of picking it up yourself. Entitled degenerate.

Legal contract. Read the handbook if you have a job.

Illegal activity can't be consented to even if it's in a contract so under no circumstances will this work. Nice try.

Haha is that what they told you?
Yes... youre right about the unions but it doesnt end there. They do not need a reason to fire you. Now that doesnt mean they can have a bad reason like... "we didnt realize you were muslim" or "youve been putting on weight lately" but yes in right to work states you can be terminated without cause. Thats one of the benefits of unionization...companies usually need a justification for canning someone.

Did YOU know to tip for carry out orders? Who does that? Nobody in the world.

>tipping on carry out
Do people do this? You're going and getting the food, the waitstaff barely does anything.

Not so fast. The fact that they took the meal out instead of having the waitress wait on them is actually saving her labor, so she should be the one to tip them.

>They do not need a reason to fire you.
This is entirely unrelated to the concept of right to work

Its rather onerous and difficult to fire full time employees regardless of the presence of unions

I didn't know you were supposed to tip for carry out. Where the fuck would you even tip? You just say to the bitch that handed it to you "hey here's 50$ even though i have no idea if you even did anything lol"? I've never seen someone tip for carry out

Capitalism is paying them what they are actually worth. They get paid fuck all because even a low IQ sub Saharan African can pack a bunch of shit into a fucking box

Well said, this is a great point.

What are you not understanding? Do you have a fulltime job? It has everything to do with rtw states. You are employed at will...no contracts. When they are finished with or tired of you... youre fired. No reason needed. I dont think you have a job... at least not in a rtw state.

>if people order too much food from us.
Do you tell your boss or owner that you are charging extra?
I'd sit you all down and explain how the business makes money by selling product, then fire you all for being retarded.

You're right she felt entitled because it was a big order. Cooks put the food in takeout boxes. Waitresses just bag and place utensils.

You don't tip for carryout. It's fucking stupid to think you would. Don't do it.

It came out that the guy they sent to pick the order up had no idea he was supposed to "tip generously" since he was new.

>employers over reaching grip
>firing you for publicly airing a work a work issue that you explicitly agree not to do
>doing so to attack a good customer and publicly shame them

Honestly, you're a complete retard.
People as stupid as you are what keeps the world mired in shit and cycles of decay.

I honestly hope we make gene editing a free public service to make sure there are no more people this stupid in a few generations.

>sign contract
>fired when you breach it
i see no problem

>what is an 'average'
Only an idiot flips out over a singular hour in their work week.

I have hours at work where I make zero.
Even days where personal work expenses outweigh my take home for a half day.
But I average $25-35/hour most weeks.
I get paid based on what I accomplish.
And I attack my work viciously day in and out.

She probably still averaged $12-16 an hour for the day(maybe more), unless she's a disgustingly shit waitress or business was dead.

You should always fire employees that violate their terms of service, threaten your profits or reputation.
Business isn't to be confused with charity.
If she wants charity, she can ask the church she talked shit about.
They help stupid, worthless, fat sacks of shit every day.

I was bullshitting with that post. I don't see the problem either. I hate tipping. Get penalized for buying more shit. That's crazy.

Next she's going to get mad that she didn't get a piece of all the orders placed on a certain day when she wasn't even working a shift that day.

The bitch puts food into bags.
I'd rather tip a doctor or nurse, who actually save lives than some dumb bitch doing a job any child can do.

Who do these people think they are?

You don't tip for carry out but it's also wrong to fire someone for complaining on facebook.

I found the article - apparently they normally tip, and were trying to tip (not get her fired) when they contacted outback (which brought the post to the manager's attention, and the manager is a huge dick)

You're 100% right about the facts, but that particular thing is called "at will", not "right to work".
