I wish I could buy professional pasta like that

sautee in a pan
then add a whole load of chopped tomatoes
salt, sugar and herbs to taste
let it simmer for at least one hour
finish with some olive oil and fresh basil
>sugar
Am*rican detected
>asks for a pasta sauce recipe
>immediately assumes it will contain prepared sauce
>example would be
>1 glass of pasta sauce
i'm not american
putting a little sugar in pomodoro sauce is standard, esp if the tomatoes are on the sour side.
i wait until the sauce has reduced a little before i decide if it needs sugar and how much, but it's never more than a teaspoon for roughly 1litre of sauce
>tomatoes are on the sour side
Well, you know where you fucked up right? Don't buy sour tomatoes (there's no excuse for it unless you're a 3rd worlder amerifat or something similar) and there's no need for sugar. Wala!
Fuck that, give me the supplier to order professional foods from
>get some fatty meat, some sort of pork meat works
>fry it in its own fat, perhaps with a bit of butter
>take out the meat, add parsley, garlic and onions, all through chopped
>let it brown
>deglaze with whine
>dice and peel tomatoes, then add it to the mix
>season to taste using herbs (the basis generally will be a bay leaf or two, thyme, chives, perhaps basil too, plus a bit of pepper - not too much)
>mix in the meat
>then add in the pasta, letting a bit of starchy water drip in
This isn't rocket science, user.
you need to carmelize (pincier? i can't recall the spelling) the tomato paste to bring out the natural sugars in the tomato.
such b8.
italians use a little sugar in their sauce all the time.
Italians can be shitty cooks and do stupid things. They're just like everyone else.
i like the easy way
no
replacing natural fructose in sour tomatoes with a little bit of glucose ..
big fucking deal, they're exactly the same thing .. plus, you avoid wasting precious resources like vegetables.
>glass
>pack
wtf?
wrong table sugar is sucrose n00b. If you want to add some glucose/fructose you have to add honey.
