Other than figs, are there any other fruits that are superior when dried?

imagine being this much of a pleb.
Mangoes, apricots, peaches
Any stone fruit (also apples)
why imagine, OP has made it a full blown reality
If figs are so good, why don't they make them into Fruit Roll-Ups? Checkmate, Moroccofag.
sun dried banan are fantastic
oh and i'm not talking about the shitty, crunchy chip things amerifats like to coat in an acre of sugar, i'm talking about an banan dried in the sun until it's soft and chewy. delicious
Papaya
>banan
i agree with mango and apricot especially
are you really implying that dried figs are superior to fresh figs?
they do them like this at this jamaican joint in my city, they're amazing
>are you really implying that dried figs are superior to fresh figs?
The texture is better, chewy skin and crunchy seeds; they're sweeter and honey-like and the flavour is just deeper.
Fucking chili mangos
Figs are perfect fresh. Drying them ruins them.
Aaaaaawwwww yiiiiissss
>any other fruits that are superior when dried?
Faggots like you.
Tomatoes (small cultivars are best, but big ones are fine too)
Mango
The ones you are referring to that people get in America are actually fried, not dried.
>eating banan in america
>better add fat as well as sugar
should have known.
If the recipe is right they can be pretty tasty or fucking nasty. I consider them a type of candy. Though, not all have added sugar. You can still get dried ones, but those are really rare.
figs
Apples, oranges, and bananas.
jfc thought that was a dried mango
You blasphemous pig, fresh figs are so much better... in season of course, and I AM having a dried fig right now, so...
Nobody mentioned prunes yet? Prunes!
Apricots. Most stone fruits.
Drying these fruits seems better but consider that the ones in store are typically picked too early to develop the sweetness they naturally have. Fresh, tree ripened fruit > anything else.
