What's your favorite kind/recipe?
Curry
I like Tikka Masala
Sambhar is nice.
Fucking yes!
Vindaloo is my favorite but most people i know like milder stuff so i usually do something like that. I like lamb curry, but chicken or beef is fine, sometimes I do only vegetables.
I've taken a recent liking to a nice Bhuna
whitefish curries are the best curries
Just an Anglo-Indian style diced lamb mixed with clarified butter and curry powder.
Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of Veeky Forums are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
post recipes please.
making curry soon.
i just want to say that if you're using spices like turmeric from a supermarket, like masterfoods, then you're missing out. get it from an indian store and you'll notice a massive improvement in flavour.
indian people are smelly people but they sure know their spices and where to source them.
probably needless to say that my fave kind of curries are turmeric based. i usually add some cumin, paprika, black pepper, garlic and sometimes onion and/or ginger (fresh). nice with beef but better with chicken.
it's an easy way to turn Veeky Forums chicken into /tasty/ chicken.
Ingredients:
1 cup google, finely chopped
Directions:
Like, really dude?
I don't know what the different curries are, I just throw together some lentils, canned diced tomatoes, and whatever frozen vegetables i have at hand. Lots of garlic, curry powder, ginger, crushed hot chili flakes, and a bit of paprika. Leave that shit in the stew pot for a while and then eat it with rice.
Says the faggot with a tripcode
Curry paste.
Add to dish.
Add noodles/rice/w/e
wa la
We start off by quickly heating up our chicken and chopped onions in a large pan.
Then we move the chicken out, leave the onions in and add curry paste, garlick, a few spices
Let it warm up to let the spices release all their taste.
Add coconut milk/cream to create the sauce.
Slice a few bananas and apples, add them into the mix.
Add the chicken again with the apples and bananas.
Let it simmer gently for at least two hours.
Serve it on basmatti rice cooked to perfection.
Finally, before eating, sprinkle thinly-sliced grilled almonds to taste.
Best fucking curry of my life.
Recently taken a notion for Naga Masala.
1. Madras - The standard
2. Tikka Masala - A nice, mild and tangy everyday curry
3. Butter Chicken - Very rich and mild
4. Korma - A good breakfast curry
5. Vindaloo - Perfect all year round
6. Phal - For when you want it spicy
7. Pasanda - Really super tasty, I'm going to make one right fucking now
8. Sorry, making curry
Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka, and Rogan Josh are top 3 curries tbqh desu.
Ever had a Jalfraezi?
So good.
Oh yeah, the one I had was a really old-skool, heavy on the onion type of curry. Fucking delicious. All curry is fucking amazing.
I prefer the Rogan Joe.
A nice cuppa Rogan Joe' in the morning. Ahhh.

thai curries are best
jamaican beef patties
Kill yourself.
Anybody had Chettinand curry? It is made with coconut and tamarind which makes it sound more Southeast Asian than other Indian curry I have had. I am going to get some tomorrow. Just trying to decide between chicken or lamb/mutton.
Japanese curry roux
Tokoreru and kokumaro a best
Coconut and tamarind, but especially coconut, are hugely popular in South India. People outside of India are most familiar with North Indian cuisine, as that's what most Indian restaurants are outside of India.
Anglo-Indian style curry dishes are totally under-appreciated.
as plebian as it sounds, nothing beats a good chicken korma
>Judging people on how they prepare their curry, even going to call it "white version of curry" even though every curry of every family is different
Jesus christ, you sound like someone who's got some serious self-esteem problems if you need to bring people down based on how they cook.
The only good curry is rendang
Everything else is pooinloo
I like the wet ones like everyone else, but I'm a sucker for dry curries like aloo gobi, bhindi masala, etc.
Anglo-indian curries confirmed for superior. Jalfrezi for me please.
tl;dr drown in jizz autist
Heh, I know it's pasta, but I use a trip to find where I leave off in a thread.
Veeky Forums-x let's you do that by placing a red line inder the last post you've read and/or automatically scrolling to that last post when you reopen a thread.
