say yes to right to work

Why a rat though? I always thought those meant the restaurant had a rat infestation

It's a thing unions like to truck out to shame businesses

Op's pic proves your a based establishment though.

wikipedia my dude

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inflatable_rat

>Unions have been using them for years against companies that employ nonunion labor,[1] and employers have filed lawsuits charging that the use of the giant inflatable rats constituted unlawful picketing, and some courts have agreed.

it's a subtle way of calling the employer a kike

they serve your water in cups like this

they don't put water on the table unless you ask for it first

Appetizers section of the menu includes mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers.

>inb4 no tendies

crap photoshop menus

>Have no discernible skillset a competent 15yo can't be taught
>Thus no bargaining power
>Get mad

what does that even mean

i always evaluate a place by the restrooms

if the restroom is clean it means the management is on the ball

its theres piss and shitpaper on the floor, do NOT eat there

It's most common with cheap ass asian restaurants from my experience: low-res google images jpegs of for a menu point, usually badly cut out with artifacts and everything and often badly placed on the menu

>Female waiters
Are you retarded?
>No pictures on the menu
No that means you're in a good restaurant unless you only fast food and shitty chains

it's a troll post right?

ITT: a shilling union faggot.
Every time you see these lazy scumbags, yell at them to get a real job. Fuck off OP

Are you fucking simple? A normal upstanding local business can get one of those for hiring a snowplow who rents a truck from a place the union doesn't like, they're arbitrary as fuck and are purely political. You should be more worried about getting sued for approaching them the wrong way instead of being worried about the business.

plastic table cloths
napkins bundled and not individually placed at each setting
pay as you order
items are prefaced with "Mc"

On the real ass podcast they wanted to rent one of these and you could only buy one and it was a crazy amount of money.

If unions did shit like that in my country, I would only eat in places with inflatable rats. Fuck communists. Union members should all be fist fucked with no vaseline.

They say, while enjoying weekends, the eight-hour day, overtime pay, child labor laws, safety regulations preventing you from losing a limb at work, etc

Photos on the menu
Laminated menus

Way to out yourself as an absolute retard

>>female waiters wearing ties
MUH DICK

>b-but we're immune from criticism because we're not THAT communist!
nope.

All I see that you listed is just a bunch of shit holding hard working, competent people's wages down

> he wants to work 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, starting from age 6, with no overtime or safety regulation, for whatever the boss decides to pay him out of the goodness of his heart

C U C K E D

but cheap ass asian places are usually great

>You have to ask for water to receive it.
FIFY

when the burgers aren't

"market price"

no, the greedy fucks that run the businesses and want you to work 12+ hour days on the lowest possible wage push wages down

unions are good, scabs and illegal mexican trash make the wages worse

that doesn't explain why it's a fucking rat though, just the history behind their use
>Origin
>Chuck Salter, of fastcompany.com, dates the usage of inflatable union rats to 1991, when Mike O' Connor of a Plainfield, Illinois balloon and searchlight firm made a rat due to a request from two Chicago bricklayers union organizers, Don Newton and Ken Lambert.
LIKE THAT STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN WHY THEY WANTED A RAT

Rats are disgusting, and commonly associated with gluttony, greed, and deception. American usually sees rats around garbage, and they can be dominant and aggressive. They're not viewed as nice creatures, they're viewed as filthy, disgusting creatures.

...That's not copy/pasted from anywhere, by the way, I just used my adult brain to make a semi-educated guess.

Calling people a 'rat' is just old as fuck working class slang for traitor, like "I smell a rat" or "you ratted me out, you bastard!" (See also 'weasel' and vermin of that kind).

Also you'll note the inflatable rats often have a 'scab' on the belly, because 'rat' is a synonym for 'scab', a blackleg, a mercenary labourer brought in to break a strike.

Look I appreciate unions for a lot of things they've done. Including the things you've listed. And I'm sure they will do a lot more in the future. But that said, picketing people for not using union labor? that's dumb.

>Implying US laborers have any bargaining power left even if they have a good skill set.
Most companies even have policies against employees telling each other how much they get paid.
The US worker has been getting fucked in the ass for 50 years and people just went along with it because they were told that collective bargaining is socialist.

Imagine being this cucked by corporate interests that you want to be fucked in the ass MORE than you already are.

...

I joined my local union a month ago for bricklaying and I have never had to work so hard in a trade job in my life. I don't know where the idea that the unions don't work comes from. I will never work in the private sector again, there is no dog fuckers and I have a future because of my benefits and OT. Union is the only way to make real cake as an employee in the trades, and anyone who says otherwise has never worked in the trades.

Also to stay on topic. You know you're in a shit restaurant by who filthy disgusting the bathrooms are, if they can't be assed to clean the bathroom how well do they clean behind their appliances.

Fuck this attitude and the war on the American worker. You owe every right you have in the workplace due to the people in unions who fought for them. In my industry if we were not unionized we would get trampled over by management. God bless the teamsters, god bless unions, god bless James Hoffa

this
retards, maybe you should pay attention in school.

I support right to work

> order food and it comes out on an insanely hot plate (microwave in use)

>t. Uneducated worker who’s job is ultimately pointless and being phased out by automation
Good thing you got that burger flippers union taking chunks out of your wage to put in their pockets and lobby for unrelated shit though

It's kind of surprising that people don't set these rats on fire, or slash them to ribbons, or some such. I mean, they're easy to destroy, it's not like they're made of stainless steel.

>t. Uneducated worker who’s job is ultimately pointless and being phased out by automation
Good. Automation can't come soon enough.
Bring on universal income.

Enjoying your weekend btw?
Yes, of course you are. It's the weekend and you don't have to do shit, right?
You are enjoying the product of union agitation and industrial action. Weekends didn't exist until people fought to make them exist. People have died for you to enjoy something I know you take for granted as 'normal'.
You think the victorian industrialists actually wanted to let thier workers be idle for even a single day?

Imagine having such little value in the economy that your employer would dare to piss you off.

Mine even gave me a medical leave of absence after I developed a major illness and couldn't work for several months. Still paid me my full salary during the period leading up to that leave of absence when I could barely function and was missing work half the days, too.

Waitresses wearing ties is a good thing. Especially if they also wear skirts and loafers. Hnnnnghghm

Oh look, that old argument again -- the rights that people have had for seventy or more years. What have unions done lately, besides funneling money to organized crime and the DemocRats?

>Bring on universal income.
Nah, you welfare rats can be strippers or else starve. There's always work to be done, go find it. We can deport a bunch of Mexicans so you can pick fruit, if nothing else is available.

>go to work
>"hey pal join the union"
>I'll hold off before making a decision
>The union rep immediately gets loud, verbally aggressive, and makes threats
>over the course of a few weeks find that everyone does a single specific job and goes home, works for less than a couple hours a day
>nobody else speaks to me, they've been told not to until I join the union
>start picking up a ton of extra work from the bosses because I'm not entitled
>promoted within a month an a half
>ten union members band together an file an injunction against me because it's "not fair that I should get a promotion and pay raise" even though they've each been offered it and refused it because it was extra work
>decide to quit instead of wading through litigation for months that would be judge by, you guessed it, the company's (union) HR department

These organizations should be scoured from the face of working America. They exist to instill and reinforce a childish, hateful, crab-bucket mentality among workers and hold back anyone who has ambition, or simply doesn't want 30% of their paycheck siphoned off into the Union's collective pocket. The gross entitlement of it all makes me physically ill, I want to vomit just thinking about it.

Do you even know what a teamster is you know nothing

Let me guess, you are in college and think you are going to be a hot shot pulling down 100k as soon as you graduate at an entry level position

I am LMAOing at your life. Union benefits that I get for $10 a week are outrageous and the only reason people are against it is because they don't get the same benefits, or they are a business owner that has to deal with us getting our way on pretty much any issue.

>No pictures
Good restaurants do not have a kid’s menu. Better restaurants describe the dish in the menu
>Waitress with ties
Unnff
I need that

Do americans really do this?

>hostess is absent for >5 minutes
>crumbs/stains visible on the table/floor
>staff mingling in public

>menu photos are still watermarked

>restaurant only has female staff

Don't see how pretty much every place gets away with hiring only women as bartenders, servers, and hosts.

>"fucking wageslave cucks need to be richer and get off their lazy union ass!!. MAGA!!!!"
>*finishes office report for Mr Shekelstein*

>Don't see how pretty much every place gets away with hiring only women as bartenders, servers, and hosts.

Hooters came under fire for this many years ago, but they figured out a solution: instead of classifying the business as a restaurant, classify it as a titty bar.

>Eat at a local place while visiting a nearby attraction
>Come back about one year later and the restaurant is demolished

I always see mexican joints do this. Its some cutout bullshit on thier little shitshack. It looks its on aqua teen hunger force

This is in the same establishment as you are.

Oh please the unions around not responsible for all that

what's the difference

Oh please, yes they are you cuck. Go look at labor conditions in the late 1800's through the early 20th century in the US when federal and state troopers were mowing down labor organizers. Shit happened during the depression as well.

Those reforms would've happened anyway you commie retard. You going to take credit for public lynchings being outlawed too?

That's bullshit though, strip joints have different zoning requirements.

The men just work in the kitchen

the menu with the food items is bigger than one page (din 4a).

The reforms would have happened because of what? What kind of magical process is happening that causes a certain number of reforms per decade, that just happens without the pressure of building a mass movement?

Unions have been fighting a rearguard action since Reagan openly declared war on them, but even today - I mean it is happening right now - a bunch of West Virginia teachers are on strike and occupying the Capital because they were 'offered' a mandatory insurance cost increase of $300 per fortnight and mandated to install some health tracker app that tracks your health 24/7 if they don't want to be fined extra (for 'unhealthy living'). This is full on 1984 stuff and the only people fighting it are the goddamn union.

There's also the Fight for Fifteen movement which is winning a raised minimum wage for service workers, a number of fantastic campaigns by the SEIU to win pay and conditions for service workers, and movements to build unions among non-tenure adjunct staff in colleges who are being forced to work for 60+ hours/week while living on like $20k/year annual 'stipends' with no guaranteed renewal.

So what, you'll walk past everyone, barge into the restroom, have a look around and then head back out and inform them that you'd like a table for one?

Digits of truth

Unions are too much of a vagina to create and park a 6 foot scab in public. So they use an inflatable rat that was made in China by 12 year old children for slave wage.

>What kind of magical process
Wat? The greedy owners will all be visited by the 3 ghosts on xmas eve, have a change of heart and open their treasure chests to their Bob Cratchit slaves and their crippled Tiny Tims. Trust me, ok?

It comes from your a construction skilled trade union, not a factory unskilled union worker. It's like night and day in comparison. People only look at the UAW and get their ideas from them. Btw I'm a union electrician and I see the stuff first hand doing work in union factories (especially the GM assembly plant)

>Democrats
To be honest the leadership sends money to them but the membership in the non liberal areas tends away from them since they are "gun grabers". Many would rather get paid less then lose their AR's with bump stocks and beta c mags, at least in my area.
.

>waitress turns away to put in the table's order and straightens her form fitting dress to outline her perfect ass

>There's also the Fight for Fifteen movement
AKA "communist scum". If you want $15/hr, then make yourself worth it by developing skills. Fast-food jobs were for teenagers to learn basic work skills like showing up on time, not jobs to support six kids and two babymommas on, LaShawn.

Unions have also been strongly against deporting illegal immigrants, who drive down labor costs. If we just deport all the illegals, there will be plenty of low-wage job openings -- and employers will have to raise pay a bit in order to get workers.

literally every place I've been to in China does that

mcbig mac

>Be strippers or starve
Lmao nuh I'll just steal your shit seeing as though you think it's fine to steal peoples livelihoods

>Being this much of a dumb cuck for corporations
Disgusting. Imagine thinking wanting to be able to exist is "communist scum". Read a book

Nobody has automatic value. If you weren't able to develop any for yourself, you're going to have to suffer. That's life.

In Europe
>pictures on menu
>more than 2 languages on the menu (especially if if’s anything other than the local language + english, good tier is a separate menu for each language; exception for Asian restaurants)
>the menu is fuck huge
>the toilet is dirty
>garnish with a bit of salad (if not specifically said it includes salad)

>Fast-food jobs were for teenagers to learn basic work skills like showing up on time, not jobs to support six kids and two babymommas on, LaShawn.
Yeah well due to America's current fucking brain drain and shithole economy that's what people have to support their kids on, you nigger.

If nobody has automatic value then you should've been shot at birth with a brain this malformed, nignoramus.

Odd that somebody as intelligent as yourself so desperately misunderstood such a simple post. A baby hasn't had a chance to prove his or her worth yet. It's ridiculous to suggest that any life should be disposed of so early.

An individual develops into an adult, at which point that individual is required to make good or be swept away. It's really very simple.

Man I totally get you. I used to work in a pork processing factory while studying, along with a couple other students. Since we were students, we were not eligible for the union so the boss would have us do all kinds of odd jobs the regulars wouldn't do, fill in for sick peoples, etc. Within a few months we could do every single job in the factory better than any regulars and were paid more since it was (minimum salary + 2.5 x #of jobs you can do). The union was butthurt as fuck since the boss would just have us do the nicer, more skilled jobs all the time. One time the union called a day off for some annual meeting so we had a shift with all the students together. Productivity was up 230% compared to regular days.

What's wrong with Chuck E Cheese?

yes, you smartass little bastard, thats exactly what i will do. got a problem?

>once we started a copious welfare state mostly funded from businesses and opened our borders to the third world who drain far more than they contribute worker wages went down
What a surprise

Have you considered that this is because they were working there for life, and not just students earning a bit of college money for a year or two? Try doing it for a decade and see if you are still so enthusiastic. There's more important things in life than being productive for someone else's profit.

That birdo is ballin.

Lol, the systematic attack on the union by red states and the right propaganda machine permitting scabs to work in a union shop getting the benefits of collective bargaining (euphemistically named "open shop", is directly correlated with a declining middle class and wage stagnation.

Without collective bargaining labor is fucked which is why you see service industries like casinos and restaurants being sulfurous hell holes in which to work. Ironically, the uneducated imbeciles believe the alt-right AM talk radio, funded by corporations, that unions and shitskins are their entire problem.

Go for it homie. I've got guns, cameras, and insurance. If I don't bust a cap in yo ass, I'll sic the po-po on you and put you in prison with your buddies Jamaal and Tahnikaisha.

>Read a book
I did! Many times. That's why I have a nice high-paying career instead of having to beg for fast-food jobs.

>due to America's current fucking brain drain and shithole economy

cnbc.com/2018/03/01/us-weekly-jobless-claims-feb-24-2018.html

> Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 10,000 to a seasonally adjusted 210,000 for the week ended Feb. 24, the lowest level since December 1969.

If you can't make it in the Trump economy, you may as well just kill yourself.

>It's ridiculous to suggest that any life should be disposed of so early.
Glad to see someone here is anti-abortion.

they say, while being unemployed*

>There's more important things in life than being productive for someone else's profit.

Fuck off you lazy, entitled, assblasted union slave commie.
