You are objectively wrong. Fasting puts your body into survival mode and it will horde calories the next time you eat. Eat lots of small, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, get plenty of exercise, and make sure you're burning more calories than you take in. You'll lose weight, it's that simple. Fasting is for Muslims and lard-asses who don't want to haul their fat ass up for a walk around the block.

Ideally you want to eat a single, high-fat carb-free meal that covers your daily recommended intake. If you can, thrown a day of fasting between meals. Hydrate well, and exercise (just weights, fuck cardio).

The reasons for this are that a single meal eliminates unnecessary insulin spikes and a high-fat, no-carb diet adapts your body to metabolize fat, which in turn eliminates carb craving and makes fasting easy. The WORST advice is "lots of small balanced meals" because that shit just keeps your insulin spiked and supplies you with carbs, so good luck burning any fat. All you'll end up doing with that is lowering your mbr, making you feel shit 24/7 and constantly craving food.

I recommend cutting down on animal proteins, animal products and excess fats like oils. Dairy is excess and unnatural, butter is definitely way too fatty and I don't recommend hydrogenated oils like margarine either.

Meat you can have but do look into what those animals eat, it's hardly nutritious and you are only going to absorb a small amount through eating meat.

Plant proteins are way good for you, and you get more from it but heads up humans don't actually need a lot of protein. As Hunter gatherers we depended on plants more because hunts weren't always successful or bountiful.

I'm sure they exist but I've yet to be around a person with a weight problem that doesn't overeat. I think it's mostly because fatasses have been told it can't be possibly their fault(at least here in the US) but it's mind-blowing how simple the solution is for most of them.

These have been known for quite some time as fad diets, and fasting is one of them. Easiest way to lose weight is to cut out junk food and replace it with whole minimally processed food. Typically, the former is less satiating and more calorie dense making it easier gain weight, while the latter is more satiating and less calorie dense, making it easier to maintain a healthy weight. Also, fasting will just reduce your muscle mass resulting in a slower metabolism at any given weight. The more muscle mass you have at any given weight, the higher your metabolism will be even when doing nothing. The only way to preserve muscle mass is to eat well. Fasting is the fastest way to sabotage yourself.
