Mini-pies

I made mini pies for a bake sale at work.

...

...

There are the strawberry ones. I made three kinds.

Pecan too.

And blueberry.

A little more close up.

One more of strawberry.

They look pretty good OP, i'd eat one.

I cooled them off and brought them to work the next day. They sold out, I was really glad.

Thanks friend.

>They sold out, I was really glad.
Congrats user. Are the same user that made a thread asking for suggestions a while back?

Yeah I am.

Good thread buddy.

Are you CIA? How did you sell so many to so many people?

I pushed a cart around, lots of other people made things too. I can give a full list of things that were made, it was really nice.

Thanks friend.

Nice muffins. Can you make blueberry ones?

Those pies look great bro. I don't think I've ever had a mini pie but I really want one now. I feel like I'd prefer it to a regular slice of pie

Oh thanks for the interior cross sections of those pies, appreciate it.

>poies
>no meat in the poies

Do this again but with strawberry rhubarb, apple, and peach. You should also serve them with little single serving scoops of ice cream from a cooler.

I am sorry. I made this last night and didn't take enough good friends.

I could.

Thanks friend. The full list of things people made:
>chocolate covered pretzel sticks with nuts or sprinkles
>chocolate scones
>cranberry almond scones
>glazed donuts
>blueberry mini-pies
>pecan mini-pies
>strawberry mini-pies
>blueberry muffins
>orange muffins
>chocolate bunt cake
>cake pops
>salted chocolate chip cookies
>chocolate chip cookies
>snickerdoodles
>pineapple cupcakes
>red velvet cupcakes
>brownie bites
>fudge brownies
>gulab jamun (indian sweet)
>jalebi (indian sweet)
>roll cake

I should have made peach, I wanted to make strawberry rhubarb but had no rhubarb to buy, and apple would have been nice.

user, do I remember correctly that you wanted to outsell one of your co-workers? If so did you?

Why doesn't the business you work at just convert to a full time bakery?

Do you work at Google or some shit?

Not enough
>(indian sweet)
To be Google.

No, I work for a tech company though.

good job

Yes I did.

Because what we do is more lucrative.

This thread is gonna be forever unappreciated and that makes me sad. OP have you tried making meat ones?

>meat pies
>human meat pies

I have not. I am unsure when I will make them next, perhaps not until this coming holiday season.

I was going to make the following kinds originally:
>strawberry rhubarb (found no rhubarb)
>mincemeat (couldn't get the right stuff)
>blackcurrants (couldn't find them)
>pecan (made this one!)

I like the idea of meat ones if I were to make savory pie cups it would be pork pies or cheese & onion.

What kind of stupid job makes the people that work for them participate in bake sales? Don't they're employees or contractors have better things to do while billing the company?

Are not allowed to bill the company for doing this stuff? It seems like real forced bullshit and something that I've never seen.

>stupid job
>Don't they're employees or contractors have better things to do
>Don't they're
they're

I know I caught that too, but I can't edit here. It should be "their."

these look absolutely delicious

Do roast pr0k bunz count as mini-pies?
Those go down well with just about everyone, if some vegan fag, just stuff a hunk of broccoli in one and let the vegans stew in anger.

Good job outselling that bitch. Looks great OP, you did some nice work!

This thread is very cozy.

Thank you OP, pies look amazing. Glad they sold out.

Thanks friends, the entire sale went really well.

I am not sure, but they're good.

Well we're salaried and folks take charity here seriously I think.

>salaried
The ultimate in wagecuckery

Eh, I only work 6 hours a day, so I'm on the opposite side of the "unpaid overtime" issue.

This is great OP. It’s good to see cooking on Veeky Forums.

Do you work for Cerner?

Can you post directions OP?

What kind of job has a bake sale? All the jobs i have had we just do our jobs at?

Nice pies
Good idea

Wholesome.

>Can you post directions OP?
Office jobs at big companies will often have charity drives.

I just sort of winged it. I'm sorry. I'm not sure how to write good directions.

>not posting ur crust recipe so i can make little pies of whatever i want in my muffin tray

I just made normal pie crust. I am unsure what you are asking.

All this looks great. Nice job user. Wish I could have more opportunities to bake.

>Office jobs at big companies will often have charity drives.

I have never heard of this, nor does it make any sense.

If your value as an employee is so low that your time is better spent having a bake sale, you should be fired.

It’s about the company’s public image.
