It may be heavy and take up space but bringing decent cook wear on any camping trip or medium length backpacking trip is absolutely worth it. Cast iron dutch ovens are the tits.

I'd like to take a crack at the transforming rice where he puts little cut up fish stock gelatin cubes mixed in with the eggs on the rice and they melt and coat everything. I've seen a ton of copy cat recipies I think would be cool.
