That is awesome. What formula are you using? I had a chocolate cherry sourdough from some bakery and it was amazing.

good work, fag

Goddamn. put the rack inside the pan the proper way. You did that just to trigger me.

I ended up tweaking Chad Robertson’s recipe here:

Tweaks: In the water I also added 35g of honey and 15g of sugar, and some vanilla bean.

Doubled the recipe and added whole wheats (rye, ww, and spelt)

No. I did it to trigger autism.

looks dry and shitty

Its pretty moist. 70% hydration

looks good user

looks like dried cow shit

does it actually look black or is it just the light? i mean a chocolate sourdough sounds pretty awesome, but that 11:59 darkness is a tad bit unsettling. i mean, i like The Cure, but not that much.

Its the lighting. Its more of a light black in person.

Though next time ill probably cut down on the cocoa powder for next time

Looks like a big slop o' shit.

Nah, seriously, it looks great. How do you get the floury exterior with the lines? Can you describe the equipment and technique involved?

Proofing basket, brotform.

The way I get it so it doesn’t stick, i lightly mist the brot form with PAM and then dust it with a 50/50 blend of AP and Rice flour.

that looks good, can i have some?
