The only proper whiskey is Single Malt Whiskey from Scotland, Ireland and perhaps Japan.
Bourbon and Blended are for teenagers and poor people.
Prove me wrong

Nobody gives a hoot but its funny that youre being pretentious about certain brands of whiskey when this board is already filled with pretentious soyboys about whiskey vs other alcohol in general
I have a 20 year Glengoyne single malt from highlands.
And a 29 year old Bunna single from islay. Which one should i try first?
I'm talking about whiskey itself, not comparing whiskey with other spirits, brainlet.
>nobody gives a hoot
back to r*ddit you go
Glengoy first.
Bunna for special occasions.
Yes i know user. You need to work on your reading skills
You still have to go back
nah
OP is a sip fag
>I watched a pewdiepie video and now I am a whiskey connoisseur
this is you OP, admit it
Fuck off back to your containment board, weebs.
Two on the right are my go-to's
>keeping empty liquor bottles
What frat are you in, bro?
Irish whiskey is plain nasty, I'd take bourbon over it any day of the week. Also canadian whiskey is actually not bad, I particularly like it for mixes. Ultimately, scotch is the only real whiskey to consider.
>Japanese whisky good
>Blended whisky bad
>Bourbon bad
Opinion filed in the trash where it belongs.
if you drink enough whiskey to have such developed opinions, you most likely belong in the trash yourself
>start a thread preaching opinions about whiskey
>someone disagrees
>"o-only alcoholics have strong opinions on whiskey!"
okay kid
the thread was started over a day ago, I'm not OP, your damage control is not only desperate but retarded
Single malts are actually blends.
>drink single malt finished in bourbon casks
>it just tastes like bourbon
You lied OP.
LOL!
you just don't have the palettè
*palate
>shits on blended
>posts hibiki
wew
hibiki is nice though
your moms a palate
What's great is they "candle" the old bourbon barrels with sulphur candles. This leaves a chemical taste that 30% of the public is sensitive to, similar to cilantro. Of course, most scotch fans completely ignore this, or can't taste it because they burned their taste buds out drinking aged swill that tastes like a cigarette astray.
People who shit on blended don't really know anything anyway.
Is this true? I hate novelty cask whisky and I just assumed it was because of whatever they used the cask for before the whisky
Hakushu, Taketsuru and Hibiki are blends
Pure malt =/= single malt
