DEENZ BOIZ
TWO THOUSAND EIGHT DEEN

Don't believe everything that you read, taste is subjective.

How did you tried to eat them?

Sardines are extremely rude and have no manners at all. Disgusting!

Off my boyfriend's penis.

I'm not a girl btw

>buy king Oscar in olive oil
>open tin
>immediate shit tier fish smell like I just opened tuna but worse
>eat one
>tastes too fishy
>throw out entire tin

did he give you consent

>fish tasted like fish
>was expecting daffodils
oh no you poor thing. you gonna be ok?

Bad fish then. Sardines in olive oil don't smell like anything except a SLIGHT fish, and obvious olive oil smell

>buy fish
>get upset when it tastes like fish
Idiot.

Sardines suck

Anchovies are GOAT though

>buy canned tuna
>its good
>buy some whenever i feel like it
>feel adventurous, buy canned sardines instead
>theyre fucking nasty

how could the taste be that different?

Like user said, deenz should not smell like that
But if you are specially sensitive to fishiness then try preparing them. I like to make a chimichurri sauce, fry the deenz and then eat them on bread

cade like feesh

Then you learned oily fish aren't your jam. A lot of people really like them. But it wasn't that expensive to find this out. It's not you sprung for truffles out at some upscale restaurant only to discover you didn't like the taste.

NEVER SPEAK ILL OF THE DEENZ

>want to buy King Oscars
>it's $3.30 buckaroos for my favorite tin here

It's cheaper on Amazon, get it there in bulk.

>in olive oil
That's your problem. Try the ones canned in water.
I mean its still going to be salty and fishy as fuck (sardines yo) but nowhere near as gross and greasy. I don't love them, but every now and then I get the craving.
My dad can eat them by the can full.
My favorite is smoked clams on a triscuit or piece of hard bread. Makes a good snack for a lazy weekend afternoon.
As a bonus your farts will strip rush from metal.

the price on deenz makes no sense. I wish it was better regulated market

Only women have to give consent, and even then It's more of a formality.

>in water
Shit tastes tbqh

This is now a /deenz/ thread

Any ethnic grocery near you carry Moroccan or Portuguese deenz? Those are usually better and cheaper than King Oscar. Or are you stuck in Frogland where anything better than a redneck grocery store is un-American?

I can't, I live in Australia.

>Try the ones canned in water.
user, that's cat food.

>I live in Australia
lmoa, why would you unironically do that?

wut?
I only eat tuna in water, never tried it in oil...
well, i rarely eat it blank, but when I do, i just eat it with toast,
I like to use it for onigiri and stuff...

how do you guys eat tuna in oil?

stupid frogposter

Take em out of the can, salt, pepper, and lemon juice on top

Also great if you eat them on some thick toast, maybe with some avacado

>how do you guys eat tuna in oil?
No mayo. It's ready to go on bread or in pasta. Better to dress up pasta with some garlic, capers, parsley and lemon juice.

>deenz
>hot sauce
>sour cream dill sause
>crackers
Godly

>king Oscar

is there something wrong with Beachcliff? They're the only sardines that ive found that dont have a bitter taste to them

I thought the same thing. I made a really nice pasta to go with it, I was terribly disappointed.

Matiz are $4+tip per tin at my grocery store. I still pick up a couple of tins most times I go though

M8 fuck your King Oscar, get this shit up ya.

woolworths dot com dot au/shop/productdetails/873020/woolworths-herring-fillets-in-tomato-sauce

Also comes in brine and mango pepper sauce varieties, dunno why it says $2 a tin online because it's $1.69 in Tassie.

1) try deenz in tomato sauce on toast
2) try mackeral, mackeral is almost inoffensive and is like tuna but with a slight fishyness

is this the deenz thread?
how the hell do you guys get over eating the spinal cord thing

by eating it...duh...

Anchovies are much better. Or if thats too salty, herring.

just eat it mate, it's not going to slither into your spine and turn you into a fishman.

I have better luck with flavored varieties. Also try eating them with rice or bread. Maybe make a paste and spread on toast.

I used to love the spine in canned salmon. Mmm so soft and crunchy at the same time with a taste like marrow.

Had some with the Louisiana hot sauce last night. Was okay. By the time I ate the last one I was really forcing it down though.

Their real easy to take out and if your too lazy to do that then juat crunch through them.
