Well it wasnt a height comparison but we were naked all in a line so pretty much. Even my great grandfather was in it, he was over 90 at the time and the only one of us without a foreskin

Elfs should be way taller than average men, same with orcs

this is based on a less naked and more official height chart which does in fact have D&D elves as being more slight than the average human.

well, D&D is different. Same with Santa elves they are small like dwarfs. I always think of them as super tall and magical. Not to say there aren't giant humies.
