Used to be a really good place to eat. We only have 3 in my city. I don't know what happened, whether it's changes in the work force, changes in area demographics, or corporate changes, but it is really not worth it to go to any of those Steak n Shakes anymore. You will spend half an hour in the drive through waiting for your food, and more than 45 minutes inside. And your food will be cold. And it will look like it was thrown against the wall and dipped in grease. And the order won't even be correct.
Sucks, because their double Steakburger with cheese and no mayo is one of my favorite burgers ever, when made properly. But I haven't been able to get it made properly in almost 3 years now.

Everything you described is correct about the one that's by where I live.
Not to mention, the employees always seem like they hate working there, never a smell on their face, and not very polite. At least McDonald's employees will crack a smile and are polite.
