How did communism become a muh feelings ideology?

Many modern self described communist would have been sent to the gulags

Same for neo-nazis
Nazis would have seen them as subhumans and imprison them

Many self-described communists in the USSR were sent to the gulag, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

Because a worker's movement with a hilariously complicated private language, which redefines words for no reason (alienation, etc), and leaves concepts undefined (human emacipation introduced in the Jewish Question, how the dictatorship of the proletariat would ever turn stateless, etc) wasn't going to stay a worker's movement for long.

Whereas Hitler understood the most inferior mind among your guys is the standard according to which your job is effective.

Wasn't it allways about that

I'm still trying to figure out why people think communism means you don't have to work.

Nigga, you didn't work in Communist Russia, they threw you in the gulag and worked you until you died.

Communism sucks dick if you're lazy.

It always was a "muh feelings" movement.

>I'm still trying to figure out why people think communism means you don't have to work.

There was a famous Marxist whose name I forget who wrote a pamphlet called "The Right to Laziness" or something like that. Maybe that's where.

>Nazis would have seen them as subhumans and imprison them

There's a couple scenes in that movie "Look Who's Back" where the resurrected Hitler basically shit-talks a bunch of nationalists who are the equivalent of roleplayers.

It comes from propaganda from the 1%.
They claim any socialism in a state leads to laziness where people will leech off social goods.
It happens to some extent, but it's way overblown.

There is an analog to old school anarchists also.

>Saying that 'They're neither witty nor clever'

I think most of these are overblown but this one is dead on.

>>There is actually some bloggers super butthurt about these comics
link?

This one's stupid but I love it

Even though this exaggerated for the sake of humor, I feel like awareness of some of this disparity is part of the reason why more anarchists are moving towards the libertarian or conservative anarchist blogosphere.

I don't know if there's a socially conservative socialism that isn't outright nazi that would appeal to disillusioned commies.

>5. It has no depth, the characters are cookie-cutter people

>You'd think the authorities would be happy about this new wave of political correctness. They could save a lot of money on pepper spray if campus activists can be traumatized by disagreement.

>Some of my comrades have recently informed me that, since the far-right often takes advantage of free speech to spread its message, we Leftists must embrace censorship. Just as we should all starve ourselves because Nazis eat food, I assume.

>censoring others means you have to censor yourself too
Universal rights are a meme.

>Censoring someone else when society hates both of you won't totally have you end up with the same consequences for yourself

Right to leisure, which is won through lots of hard work. All it means is that leisure time is not something to be frowned upon like it was in early capatlaist societies.

these nigs know the deal

If they hate you that much they'll try to censor you anyway.

Not really. Modern society likes (or at least used to like) free speech.

You mean blacks in America.

Marx famously depicts the worker under capitalism as suffering from four types of alienated labour. First, from the product, which as soon as it is created is taken away from its producer. Second, in productive activity (work) which is experienced as a torment. Third, from species-being, for humans produce blindly and not in accordance with their truly human powers. Finally, from other human beings, where the relation of exchange replaces the satisfaction of mutual need.

Communism did not become an ideology of feelings, it was born that way.

The first step in planting the idea that you must rebel is convincing you that you cannot be happy, it's all a lie, wake up sheeple.

Intentionally or not, it's recycling a certain tenet of Buddhism, life is Dukkha, it cannot give you satisfaction; so while it replaces monasticism with political action, the doctrine demands obedience and almsgiving all the same.

It never did. Communism is old left, marxism. Muh feeling movements are the new left - neomarxism.
Old left fights for repressed working class, while the new left thinks that the only repressed group are minorities.
These 2 have nothing much in common, other than the fact that one is loosely inspired by the first one.

Maybe Yuri can help.

Communism probably got this reputation because while the USSR still existed they tried to destroy the West from within.

Now it's running rampant without anyone guiding it really.

What's Russias and Chinas stand today when it comes to Communism?

I don't want my "bio" to get into too much detail because people are stupid and I don't want them to know about me. But I'll at least give you the basics.

Preferred art style: Political cartoons, comics, fiction writing, scratching anarchy symbols into desks. In that order.

Age: Haha no.

Hobbies: Art, obviously. But also shooting guns and making capitalists angry.

Political orientation: Left-wing troublemaker.

Favorite food: Meat.

Favorite historical figure: A cybernetic hybrid of John Brown and George Orwell that steps on racists while making witty remarks about toads.
Shameless advertising
...but we all make compromises to survive in a capitalist world. Anyway, I'm on Patreon now, which is a cool crowdfunding thingy where people can pledge a small amount of money per month to help artists stay afloat. If any of you feel like giving me a hand, you'd have my eternal gratitude (and a chance to see new cartoons early). Hit the link below for more details.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, though: THIS IS NOT A PAYWALL OR ANY BOURGEOIS CRAP LIKE THAT. It's totally optional, and I'll still post all new cartoons here and on my blog. It's just a way for anybody to help out if you so desire.

If you believe the slippery slope is real and belong to an impopular political movement it may be very unwise to create a society where those who are hated the most will be censored as that one may very well end up being you.

Interesting.

Thank.you.

It all began with young boy named Carlos Marx

>the 1%
This meme is hilarious

The average leftist is the living anthropomorphization of the Ouroboros.

It takes a sperg to know a sperg.

> How did communism become a muh feelings ideology?
It didn't.

Its just there are a lot of twats that pretend to be communists.

> Nigga, you didn't work in Communist Russia, they threw you in the gulag and worked you until you died.
They'd gave you a mandatory job. And if you were explicitly unwilling to work, they would send you to live in some godforsaken village in the middle of nowhere.

Neo nazis would be sent to a front.

The pope doesn't represent communism, in fact one declared communism as godless.

theres only really 1 gay socialist and his picture is up there twice

This one seems to have the most implications and it legit triggers me

>I'll vote to keep out mexicans and bomb sand niggers as long as it means my boss will get richer

You act like there aren't self destructive retards on both sides of American politics.

It doesn't require a lot of thinking to figure out that a system based on establishing fairness and equality would promote the concepts both economically and socially.

...

After the failure of marxism as a viable form of authoritarian government, the Marxist academics transformed it into the more subversive ideology of cultural Marxism, promoting Marxist value through cultural change instead of top down government change.

My only relief is that alot of SJW would be sent to gulags/gallows first if Stalinist commies took over.

>tfw true socialist

I will do my duty and inform the Father State of any capitalist billionaire cock leech or social justice warrior I can identify.

For the State.

underrated post
>ouroboros
fucking based

you are a fucking meme

Communism was pretty socially progressive for its time, particularly with women. The difference now is that you have to be more progressive because everyone in the West has already reached the progressivism of old. In fact, pretty much any authoritarian leader from 50+ years ago would be pissed if he came back.

It's always been about that emotional manipulation of the workers

>yo bruv I noticed that youse is exploited
>youse should give mi all that power I won't betray ya bruv
>innit

I don't know y I wrote it like that. Filthy Bolsheviks

> It's always been about that emotional manipulation of the workers
> emotional
All Marxism is literally about "emotions are irrelevant, its the economy that matters in the end".

>Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!

Yep, sounds like a rational appeal to economics to me.

>I don't know y I wrote it like that.

because you're a meme-loving subhuman

My point exactly!

Truth

Why? There isn't any anarchist war somewhere in the world today, if and when one happens, i'm sure many anarchists will fight. Different circumstances, different ways of fighting.

This.

>cultural
>marxism

Stalinism =/= Communism

I know, hence why they went to the gulag.

>Implying cultural marxism and the Frankfurt School are anything more than a footnote
absolutely /pol/

It always has been. Communism, at its core, is an emotion based ideology.

every ideology is, at its core, based in emotion

it becomes an ideology when the emotional sentiments are shared

Did anybody asked you for your opinion ?
Op wanted to know how it changed, if you cannot answer that at least explain how it didn't. Why is this board so saturated with people simply stating their opinions ? Kys for being that useless really.

>inb4 you're not contributing either
Yes I am, I am telling right wingers to use rational arguments and that's a big contribution.

It didn't. Even in the US, SJW communists are less than half of all anti-capitalists. People who see capitalism as less dangerous than the patriarchy usually identify as feminists rather than communists.

Capitalism is far more cruel to people who don't want to work.

Kek

That's kinda fucked tho, all-out violence by individual activists will harm far more than it can help, in the current environment

Cultural Marxism isn't even real. It was a term used by the Nazi government to describe anything they didn't like, it was originally called cultural bolshevikism.
