No.

Turks are steppe peoples that arrived significantly after Classical Troy was buried, by a few thousand years.

the Romans loosely believed they (the patricians) were descendants of the Trojans.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Founding_of_Rome

>The national epic of mythical Rome, the Aeneid of Virgil, tells the story of how Trojan prince Aeneas came to Italy. The Aeneid was written under Augustus, who claimed ancestry through Julius Caesar from the hero and his mother Venus. According to the Aeneid, the survivors from the fallen city of Troy banded together under Aeneas and underwent a series of adventures around the Mediterranean Sea, including a stop at newly founded Carthage under the rule of Queen Dido, eventually reaching the Italian coast. The Trojans were thought to have landed in an area between modern Anzio and Fiumicino, southwest of Rome, probably at Laurentum or, in other versions, at Lavinium, a place named for Lavinia, the daughter of King Latinus whom Aeneas married. This started a series of armed conflicts with Turnus over the marriage of Lavinia.[3] Before the arrival of Aeneas, Turnus was engaged to Lavinia, who then married Aeneas, starting the war.[3] Aeneas won the war and killed Turnus.[3] The Trojans won the right to stay and to assimilate with the local peoples. The young son of Aeneas Ascanius, also known as Iulus, went on to found Alba Longa and the line of Alban kings who filled the chronological gap between the Trojan saga and the traditional founding of Rome in the 8th century BC.

The vast majority of Turkish people have no genetic relation to Turks. Turks just formed the political elite and brought their language and religion.

So what? That's true of almost every nation on Earth.

Are the English not English because they're descended from Neolithic farmers instead of Anglo-Saxons?

Except migrations from areas like eastern Eurasia are an exception due to the fact that most are nomadic and bring their entire culture with them. Unlike some typical civilized invader that would supplant the elite and only station a garrison. They bring their entire family of nine including their grandmother, then procede to not integrate and out breed them.

>they're not Turks, they just act like Turks and emulate them in every way

>there are people right now on Veeky Forums who haven't read the Aeneid

Uhh....

After the collapse of the Hittite Empire in the Bronze Age, people from the Balkans migrated into western Anatolia.

So, yeah, at the time of writing, Troy would have been one of the cities created by the Phrygians

>The Phrygians (gr. Φρύγες, Phruges or Phryges) were an ancient Indo-European people, initially dwelling in the southern Balkans – according to Herodotus – under the name of Bryges (Briges), changing it to Phruges after their final migration to Anatolia, via the Hellespont.

Which one?

no most true Anatolians migrated to greece after turkroaches overran the place. Some still live in southern turkey.

Do turks look like asians to you? Are poles and Hungarians smartians too?

The only people who migrated to greece were albanians and ottoman christian subjects from the levant

There's only one Aeneid.

Are you asking which translation?

Except genetics says you're wrong
Wrong

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

>mfw Brits literally think they were descended from Trojans

Romans are the true decedents of Trojans.

Turkroaches BTFO.

holy shit

Turks are literally from central Asia, hence why they speak Turkish. Same as Chengis khan and timurlane.

Turkish uses the roman alphabet though

Genetically, they are from central Asia. Since they are a midway between the at an world and Europe, Thor culture is a melting pot of both.

[Citation needed]

Turks (as in the people living in Turkey) are literally a mix of every people they encountered on the way to Anatolia + some guys from neighboring regions that migrated en masse there at one point such as certain Cossack populations.
The central asian thing was like a trillion years ago.

Odysseus > Achilles

>Genetically, they are from central Asia

None but Turks believe this. They look nothing like central asians.

Turk here. I've never seen a Turk who thinks they were descended from Greeks or Anatolians. If you call their ancestors Troyans they'd be pissed at you.
Turkish people is like we wuz steppe warriors and shit while it is less correct than we wuz troyans and shit. Modern Turks today has little to do with central asian turks genetically. It is mostly native anatolians and Greeks but almost everyone in Turkey thinks their ancestors were some steppe nigger from Turkmenstan.

Hector > Achilles

What about the grey wolves?
>TWF one of our ministers were kicked from office for dinning with the grey wolves

Just like Hungarians think they're some fucking steppe niggers from Mongolia, when they are pale blonde. Apparently typical Slav features are also encountered around the Gobi Desert.
Genetics don't matter, we have nothing in common with our ancestors 500 years ago(never mind 1000). Only things that matter are culture and language

Grey Wolves are "white trash" of Turkey nothing more. They all believe their ancestors were steppe people. Shitty people.

Pic related is a Grey Wolf.

You might not be aware, but there's been a metric fuckton of DNA studies done in the past 10 years or so. You don't have to make wild guesses about how the migration patterns of semi-nomadic people centuries ago should have affected modern Turkish genetics, because we have the genetics. Every study has shown that Turks are extremely similar to ancient Anatolians and surrounding populations.

Shame not a single written documents was found in the city (also very weird)

Are you retarded?

He clearly meant the modern inhabitants of Turkey you retard, they cluster genetically with other near Easterns and South Europeans.

Actually 1/3th of the English people descend from Anglo Saxos and even if they didn't the Britons and other inhabitants of the silands were genetically quite similar to Western Europeans people like Germanics.
