Without Lend Lease, the Soviet Union would not have been able to win over German...

Without Lend Lease, the Soviet Union would not have been able to win over German. WWII was not decided in Stalingrad and Kursk, it was decided in Detroit.

Eh. We have this conversation once every 3 days.

Yeah it helped, but if the Soviets lost the battle of Moscow in 1941 before any help arrived, then well, the lend lease would have been pointless.

Funny enough Stalingrad and Kursk were decided without Lend-Lease having an impact.

WW2 basically was /pol/ against /lefty pol/ and /b/, if you think about it.

This.

Fucking OP fuckboy, did you know the Russkies stopped the German offensive at mere kilometres from Moscow?
I have always said, if the Germans didn't made that stop after Smolensk, they could have won the fucking war.

Even if the krauts had taken moscow it wouldnt have made a difference

Right, and and why should we believe anything you posted? Get over yourself man, the USSR had everything it needed to win a total victory after they checked the Nazi offensive at Kursk and revived their industry from it's devastation in '41. By 1944 no force on this planet could've stopped the Red Army from taking Berlin at some point or another.

Please tell me, how would the soviets feed themselves for the next 2 years without american supplies? The Ukraine provided them with all of their grain.

The same way they fed themselves 1941-1945. US supplied fed the collapse of AGC's mobility, not the capacity of the Soviet state to conduct defensive or limited strategic warfare.

There is no way the Soviet union would be able to feed their army and their population at the same time. One would give out and the other would follow shortly.

The Soviets were on the border of famine even with American food. Without it there definitely would have been starvation.

Is this what they teach kids in Clap School nowadays?

>but nazi germany was a utopia and fantastic aryan paradise and nobody alone could ever possibly stand a chance against them or their army of 6 gorillion tiger tanks, and hitler never had to worry about shit ever hitting the fan either with food, raw materials, fuel, or popular uprisings until they were overwhelmed by sheer enemy numbers, because he was such a competent leader and military strategist

...

>The Ukraine provided them with all of their grain.

You guys are memeing, Ukraine isn't the only arable part of russia. Theres the northern parts of kazakhstan, all the way to mongolia.

Also, forgot pic

The vast majority of farms were based in the Ukraine. While parts of Russia could also sustain the population, the infrastructure was not in place to do it. Russia would have starved without US aid.

>Funny enough Stalingrad and Kursk were decided without Lend-Lease having an impact.

>Lend lease also included immediate financial aid
>The agreement allowed for immediate production and shifting of industry to areas not supplemented by LL, ie shifting all truck plants to tanks
>Soviets knew of Operation Citadel and all radioed instructions from German High Command to field command courtesy of British intelligence
>Early Soviet Tank reserves were mostly light tanks, LL light tanks used at Stalingrad and Kursk.
>Zhukov openly admits Red Army could not defend, let alone push back, German aggression w/o LL.

Won't someone get off their ass and make a Eastern Front General threads so we don't have to repeat this every week? Nobody bothers to cite sources anymore because why take the time if we'll just have to do it again in < 7 days?

Shame on you Detroit. You want gratitude?
Nazis=Commies.

The irony of OP's picture will be lost on a lot of posters here. Not just that those are Studebaker's, but that the concept of truck mounted rocket artillery was a direct result of the Red Army's massive deficiencies in tracked vehicles and self-propelled guns.

>The Soviets were on the border of famine
You do realise they went into famine during the war, and in 1946-1947 (relevant to "no lend lease") and the state wasn't in any way weakened?

>no food to eat
>CANT HURT SOVIET. SOVIET STRONK

It being there is less important than it being able to get everywhere else.

As I previously told you, US food aid went to the forces involved in the destruction of AGC: a spam powered offensive. Civil casualties in 1946-7 were sustainable.

I'm sorry that you're a fucking idiot, but the cure lies within you. Put a bullet or a book through your head.

Nice sources faggot.

Obviously. Communism can't create anything but propaganda, when Germans attacked they were surprised to see tzarist-only equipment and sharpened sticks, that's all.

There's nothing ironic about the op's pic or how it's used, so it shouldn't be surprising if the irony of OP's picture is lost on a lot of posters.

this is so true.
I'm from germany and I've talked to a wehrmacht vet who lives here.
He told me that they almost reached Moscow on pic related.
He also told me that they had to retreat before they reached moscow and that he had to run like a motherfucker to escape.

probably.

But Germany would've self-destructed anyway.

Gasically, Nazi Germany had a chance until Hitler couldn't invade Britain. If Hitler died and was replaced by an actual intelligent person before that, shit might have been different.

But since Hitler remained in power, if he conquered the USSR, he would have instigated a bunch of internal revolts and rebellions across Europe, and Europe would currently be worse than Africa ever was, except without the horrible diseases.

>everyone who disagrees with me are facists or went good

Wehrboos*

>America was the reason allies won WW1
>America was the reason allies won WW2

Why do Ameriburgers have such an inferiority complex that they have to lambast themselves as the savior of the entire world whenever they get even slightly involved in a war?

>Gasically, Nazi Germany

I can't deicide if this was intentional

keep crying, yuropoor

They did save Western Europe from from being "Liberated" by Ivans

>American is the reason Ho Chi Min won the Vietnam War.

Nah, if you want to thank US supplied Motorization that enabled the USSR to keep up the pace of their offensives post-Kursk then fair enough, but what this argument fails to grasp is that the war, surprisingly, was a joint effort.

Because they were the most powerful industrial nation in the world in both wars.

The US shit out more equipment than most other nations put together without even trying.

Because the Eastern front was fought with WW1 artillery and horses. There was only 1 fully Mechanized military on Earth in WW2 and the same country that produced it also supplied three other "world powers" during that war.
