What happened to the Kangs of Egypt? Why do modern Egyptians look middle eastern?

There was only one generation of ethnic Nubian Kings which was established not long after they invaded and conquered the Upper Nile, not long after they lost that along with the Nubian part of Lower Egypt, and it became its own Kingdom

*drinks grape drank*
so you be sayin we wuz nubians and not jipshins?

Because...Egypt...is in the Middle East?

Do people think Ancient Egyptians didn't know how to depict black people? Because they did. They conquered the nubian people in southern Egypt.

They depicted themselves as being dark skinned, not subsaharan black.

not to mention the 'men=red, women=white' painting convention that permeated the mediterranean for millennia.

it's fairly hard to say what color anyone actually was though.

>why do people from the middle east look middle eastern

If you can trace your ancestry to upper Sudan yeah sure

Thanks pan-Africanism, you really enlightened a lot of people!

>please darkies fuck me
>no, I would rather be working
>I have a wife I'm faithful to back home
>pleasure for the sake of feeling good will only lead to decadence

...

...

Okay, that's worth a chuckle or two. Nicely done.

Upper Egypt*

ohmygod

They're clearing depicting the Nubians as being a mix of very dark and browns. Theres no other reason for them to go out of their way to do two different colours otherwise.

Stop trying to appropriate other people's history.
It's racist and indicative of ignorance of your own history.

Egypt is a land that has seen many cultures of various ethnic mixes rise and fall over many thousands of years. "Ancient Egyptians" are not one culture or one people.

>'men=red, women=white' painting convention
I thought that came to be because men worked outside and got really tanned while women stayed at home and did women things

It's not just a matter of skin color but if actual facial features.

The brows, lips, and noses of the nubians are different than the egyptians. Namely, they're more African.

Exactly, but it's still a convention based on that idea.
Obviously the women weren't actually porcelain white and the med burnt sienna.

Except Nubians depicted themselves similarly to Egyptians

Honestly I don't take Egyptian art as being anything other than stylistically.

Nubians were distinct as upper egyptians, and only held power during the 25th dynasty.
Lower egyptians scorned their rule.

>Lower egyptians scorned their rule.

*cringe*

>Theres no other reason for them to go out of their way to do two different colours otherwise.
Actually, there is. If they have painted all the figures black it would look like one big black unrecognizable blob. By painting figures in different colors they separate them making each individual figure be visible and separate from the figures surrounding it.

>Why do modern Egyptians look middle eastern?
>being raped by ummayyads
>being raped by ottomans

I wonder why

Its in Northern Africa, not the Middle East u dumbfuck.

How deluded do you have to be to see black features in that bust of Nefertiti?

Tiye, sure, but she's Arab/Middle Eastern as shit

Its in the middle of both dipshit.

Did Egyptians at the very least look paler before the Romans arrived?
