Trojan War.
Heroes were true heroes, prizes were real prizes, stakes were serious stakes back then. Not like today, not like today.

The wars of the Bronze age collapse, just because we know so little and because the wars and their aftermath were mythologized in Greek legend.

it's fun to see americans experience the horrors of war

and losing

Losing due to the public getting sick of the war and protesting until the army is pulled out isn't the same thing as your armies getting slaughtered in the field and plenty of americans experienced the horrors of war in previous conflicts.

The fierce war between my dick and her asshole.

Historical revisionism is my favorite part of war too.

The Italian Wars, sad thing is I have not been able to find a good book that goes into full detail about the Italian wars in its entirety. Only books that partially talk about it.

>why?

It's peeked my curiosity at the moment for how this multiple shit storm of multiple small wars shaped the Renaissance.

>BRONZEMIND

+1 for the ancient world, I love stuff like the great chariot battle at Qadesh, the siege of Troy, and the subjugation of the Assyrrians by Hanigalblat.

30 years war.

people thought it was the end of the world.

>her

Its a her. Brits are just ugly..

The Spanish Civil War.

My half brothers grandfather fought in the war. Not only that, it was crazy how it preceded WW2 and gave the fascist some early momentum in the war. It was also as brutal as it can be.

That and the wars in Bosnia. I don't know too much about this one though.

>see americans experience the horrors of war
what? Their cities weren't even bombed.

>peeked

>That and the wars in Bosnia.

They were fucking miserable. Years of sieges, with civilians being used as target practise for snipers while they starved, interspersed with brief massacres and even briefer gunfights. There's nothing noble about modern warfare, especially in a piss-poor shithole like Bosnia.

it ain't me

I'm sorry OP, s-say again?

War of Spanish Succession. Most succession wars are fascinating.

Considering his other favourite war, misery is what he likes.

Anyways, it's foolish to consider that ancient war wasn't horrible either.

Thirty Years' War.

When you need a fucking chart to remember who was on which side, it must have been a pretty fucked up event overall.

>Anyways, it's foolish to consider that ancient war wasn't horrible either.

Well sure, but there was a time that a man with nothing could make a fortune for himself on the battlefield, but those times died centuries ago.

>MUH 8 MILLION

The wars between the Saxons and the Britons in the 5th-8th centuries which we barely know anything about.

First and second chechen wars. I don't know why.

White Muslims make everything more interesting.

You been playing Metal Gear Solid?

>War pillaging no longer exist

Guy, so much of Sadam's gold left his palace in 2004 you could make Switzerland cry.

The Finno-Korean Hyper War

Unprecedented and unsurpassed in scope, scale, and devastation.

I like most of them except WW2.

>war
>fascinating

You're not warring on the correct places. If religion and ideology aren't of your taste, try sub-sahelian Africa.

WW2 was badass chill senpai.

This. The greatest war of all time, and it was the first one we know about.

>le happy venetian merchant.png

Brits are among the most attractive. Look at Emma Watson, average British girl is as attractive as her or more.

>Emma Watson
>attractive

>british men and women literally share the same face

Fucking Venice.

Wars of Alexander the Great

Battle of Gaugamela was the greatest victory in the history of Mankind.

maybe dawkins just looks really fem?
ever think about that? huh?

how can one republic be so based?

There is something undoubtedly "British" about that girl. I don't know what it is though. But you can just tell when a slut is British rather than American.

The winehouse beehive and makeup.

i think its the anglo-saxon noses 2bh

>The winehouse beehive and makeup.
I think you're onto something here.

It's the scrunched up face and nose combined with the gaudy makeup/hairstyle. Classic slag getup.

For the love of god someone suggest to me a good book on this cluster fuck. Why was there so much side switching...

Because its Italy

>a war with both venetians and frenchmen

I'm surprized there's not even more perfidity.

>Why was there so much side switching...
Venice was involved.

I feel you there. Whenever I hear the word "war", images from Grozny appear in my mind.

>Implying that's a good thing

the an shi rebellion

mostly because of the battle of suiyang

Can't believe that this wasn't mentioned already
