Memes aside, the shiba inu is one of the best proportioned dogs out there.

Also there fur looks great, nice and consistent.

Dog breeding is older and more widespread than cat breeding. Even now, the enormously large majority of cats are "mutts", and we haven't bred them to the extreme physical levels that we have with dogs.

Dog breeds used to exist for specific jobs too (some are still filling those jobs, but not as much), cats kinda always just had the one job and did their own thing- be assholes to small things.

Not caring is entry level effay.

i think all dogs can be effay as long as their properly groomed and fed and generally taken care of

usually what makes the deal for me is how they act and if i feel like i can bond with them

personally i wouldn't ever want to own the kinds of dogs that are spastic and nutty - i like more mellow and affectionate doges. a bit of fluff in their coat is also a plus but not required
