That's just as unbreathable as a dress shoe. Only difference is that you get a breeze on the back of your foot. Its probably really annoying to walk in them too.

$340 is an alright price if they're new, I'd personally spend that on a louder piece but they'll be worth the investment if you'll wear them loads (which you probably will). Specially not if you're going to get them tailored in store which increases the price up to a whopping £250. They're not even comfy and my buttons fell off all the time, plus, you need to wear them low or you'll crush your balls.
