Oldfag here, popping in for the first time since 2010. What is the best casual way for someone who's 30 to dress? Nigga can't wear suits 24/7, and business casual hasn't been fashionable since I was regularly on here six years ago. Is something like pic related doable at such an age?

I'd say ripped jeans are for people in their 20's or around 16
yeah, that's the part I'd negate from it. What about otherwise?

this is my second time on Veeky Forums. I'm not sure what else more. It's more of a personal thought. The jacket seems too skinny for 30's aswell.
I'd say no bands or small things around wrists aswell. a watch is enough.
Yeah, I feel the same, Op too old for that.
Scandinavian fashion or something similar to that maybe? Though it also depends on what you're comfortable with.
black wool trousers, luxe black knit, nice leather shoes. everything luxe and simple. looks good and not overdone
thanks, I can get behind these. Hard letting go of a touch of edginess, though
Simple is generally safer. The only more outlandish look I can see working on someone older is going full Kaptial.
full yohji
Slim pants on the less slim side. No skinny fit pants.
It's summer in the civilized parts of the world user, wearing that shit would be way too hot and look tryhard
so, uh, buying the whole fit from one designer ?
take a look at Margaret Howell and Billy Reid
>Oldfag here

30 is the new 20... or at least I hope so. Getting pretty close myself.
My style hasnt changed a ton from my early 20s (apart from changing trends. Haven't worn all my cut off jeans in a long while lol), but it has gotten slightly more formal and definitely more expensive. I work in a fairly chill industry, and nearly all of what I wear regularly would be fine to wear into the office.
