I'll start with this jacket I made out of a pair of old jeans, the jacket and a patch.

Made these yesterday

Nice, these actually look wearable.

How? bleach?

they are memes but i dont care

ketchup

more memes. oversized blue hoodie that i bleached

last bit of memes

hoodie that i cropped a little and cut sleeves off of. NASCAR print is from t shirt i found at thrift store.

you have any better pictures?

w2c these jeans man?

Shows potential

nice work

they are levi 511 54%cotton 46% polyester blend jeans.

these are really good. nice job dude

i have this pic in my inspo from when you posted it a while ago in a waywt. i like this whole fit (green shirt one). Pants especially.

what did you do on the seams?? thats sick.

the seams are made of polyester so bleach doesn't change their color.

lol thanks. diy is pretty fun you get to experiment with clothes you dont wear or like/thrifted and attempt to turn them into something more unique pieces. Im gonna try and practice a lot during this summer and work with patterns. getting on this guy's level is my goal

(he was from Veeky Forums awhile ago)

Ya just Clorox 1% with a spray bottle
Thanks m8

>Ya just Clorox 1% with a spray bottle
Thank you, i've always wanted to try this. I'll experiment on some cloth first.

Has anybody bleached the grey suede on GATS? Seems like it could be cool

Dyed a weird flesh-coloured OBEY tee black so it would work better as an undershirt since it's threadbare/thin.

Ended up turning out a dark charcoal, but w/e.

Does anyone have a link to a tutorial on how to make clothing yourself?

...

Not something I diyd but I wanna know how I could diy this or am I stuck to buying a raincoat and painting it? I just want it to look like an empty fiji bottle lol

>buys shoes
>sprays bleach on it
>"i maedid dis"

Not even him, but you're stupid.

Assuming the jacket is nylon, you're gonna need a pretty good air dry ink like Union ink's NYLOC and I'd totally look into the NYLOC Accelerator NYLN-9135 if you're gonna be doing multiple colors

Also plan the shit out of this, when my buddy did this without coming to me he ruined his entire stock of nylon coats

pretty sweet

Had a old cotton parka, spilled some caustic soda on it and then washed it... it shrank a little bit so i decided to turn it into a short jacket and scaled it down, then i put patches and studs on it.
Going to spill some greyish dye on it and maybe stud it a little more

Here pic related

cringe patchwork

Any links to good bleaching tutorials? I think about bleaching some old jeans since I am not happy with the wash.

You are the guy that also made those jeans last year arent you? Nice stuff man. Keep it up

I bought a pair of cheapo Converse One Stars for $10 when Target went out of business here in Canada, swapped the flat white laces with round black ones and took two minutes to Sharpie the contrast stitching and star

Pretty cool beaters I think

did you tailor it yourself? if so, how

Huh, thanks for the info/help. How do they go about mass producing shit like that?

Looks like shit with the Sharpie, and it will look probably look even more shit when it begins to fade.

Go to a craft store and get a fabric paint pen.

What is this? I thought it was noothgrush until I opened the thumbnail

late as fuck to the thread but what was your success rate like? I've been thinking of tinkering with some clothes I already own

Everything looks nice. How did you get the print on the hoodie? Hand sew? I have a t-shirt print I wanna put on the back of a button down but I'm not sure how to do it yet

i made this, it badly needs a press.

neat. the socks are a bit much though, makes it look more like a costume than a fit.

Looks good!

I found this helpful.

yea its just hand sewn on.

Is it normal if bleach makes cloth go light yellow not white? I made sure to wash it before. Help

That is fucking disgusting.
