Hey fan, looking for a new pair of sneakers for the summer. I really like the ones OP posted, but I really don't want to spend that much. I'm going for a sort of normie look, but I'm a very frugal person. Any suggestions would be nice. Looking to spend around $50.

I'm not sure about prices in dollars but for around $50 Reebok is your best bet I'd say. Could also look at Onitsuka Tiger GSM. I have a pair of Reebok NPC Vintage and they're very comfy.

I guess it depends what you had previously. I've had a couple of pairs of Vans as beaters, they've always lasted well. Got a pair of Reeboks I wear as beaters now which are very comfy and seem to be holding up well so far. Leather isn't great quality but didn't expect it to be.

I had a pair of white reebok and they lasted well, but now i want to change which colorway of vans do you suggest me that look better beaten up?

I've had one grey and black pair, the others were black and white old skools.

Midsoles on both got grimy pretty quickly which looks fine imo. The grey parts of the first pair got darker over time, and after a week of clubbing in Portugal they went nearly black on the toes. Old skools kind of faded a bit but not any real change of colour. Main thing that happened was the parts of the shoes where your toes bend started to split and tore a bit on the grey ones. Started to happen on the other pair as well.

I don't have the Old Skools any more but they looked better I'd say.
