get rid of all the cluttered junk around the tv
throw out the zebra thing
is the art above the couch by an artist or store bought? it is too dark and heavy.
the fat leather couch thing should possible go too, it is something from the past.
lost the weird red carpet
get a nice wood coffee table
lose the ikea standing lamp in the corner and get something nicer

put some of your fav. books and a few small plants by the tv, and maybe a small statue or some simple pottery

also get wooden barstools from an antique store, something is wrong with those three art things, they might be a little big for your space and stick out too far, also maybe hung a few inches too high, or just too close to the airconditioner.
